The 2019 Cork Junior Hurling Championship was the 122nd staging of the Cork Junior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1895. The championship draw took place on 2 September 2019. The championship began on 14 September 2019 and ended on 3 November 2019.
On 3 November 2019, Russell Rovers won the championship after a 1-17 to 0-09 defeat of Carrignavar in the final at Páirc Uí Rinn. [1] This was their first ever championship title.
The Cork Junior Hurling Championship features fourteen teams in the final tournament. Over 70 teams contested the seven divisional championships with the seven respective champions and runners-up automatically qualifying for the county series.

Brian Dillons is one of the oldest GAA clubs in the city of Cork. It is named after the Irish Fenian, Brian Dillon and its original clubhouse was less than 100 metres from Dillon's home. The club is now based at the Tank Field in Montenotte and has playing pitches and dressing rooms at Lisnahorna, White's Cross.
The Cork Junior A Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking junior clubs in the county of Cork in Ireland. It is the sixth tier overall in the entire Cork hurling championship system and is regarded as one of the toughest club competitions to win.
Carbery GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in the south-west area of County Cork, Ireland. The division is one of eight divisions of the Cork County Board and a division is responsible for organising competitions for the clubs within the division from Under 12 up to adult level The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football and hurling teams from the adult teams playing at junior level or county intermediate level, and these then compete for the Cork GAA Senior Football Championship and Cork Senior Hurling Championship.
Courcey Rovers is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the villages of Ballinspittle and Ballinadee in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both hurling, Gaelic football and camogie teams. It has historically concentrated on hurling. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork competitions. It used to be part of Carbery GAA but moved in the mid-1970s to Carrigdhoun GAA as it felt that it would be offered a higher chance to be able to win county championships, as there are more hurling clubs in the south east division.
Ballinascarthy GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Ballinascarthy, County Cork, Ireland. It is affiliated with Cork GAA and Carbery divisional board. The club participates in both Gaelic Football and Hurling competitions.
Imokilly GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in the east of Cork, Ireland. The division includes towns such as Midleton, Cobh, and Youghal. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from Under 12 up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football and hurling teams from the adult teams playing at junior level or county intermediate level, and these then compete for the Cork Senior Football Championship and Cork Senior Hurling Championship. The division is known best for its hurlers, and in recent times, players from here have dominated on the Cork GAA senior hurling team.
Lisgoold GAA Club is a gaelic football, hurling and ladies football club based in the village of Lisgoold, County Cork, Ireland. The club draws its support from Leamlara, Ballincurrig, Peafield and Lisgoold itself. The club fields teams in Cork GAA and Imokilly GAA divisional competitions.
