1948–49 Swedish Division I season

The 1948–49 Swedish Division I season was the fifth season of Swedish Division I. Hammarby IF defeated Gavle GIK in the league final.

Hockeyettan is the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden. As of the 2015–16 season, the league consists of 48 teams divided geographically into four groups. Hockeyettan operates a system of promotion and relegation with HockeyAllsvenskan and Division 2.

Hammarby IF Ishockeyförening is an ice hockey club founded as "Bajen Fans IF" in 2008 by supporters of the previous incarnation of Hammarby Hockey which went bankrupt that same year. The club has played in Hockeyettan, the third tier of Swedish men's ice hockey, since the 2013–14 season.

The 1951–52 Swedish Division I season was the eighth season of Swedish Division I. Sodertalje SK defeated Gavle GIK in the league final, 2 games to none.

The 1953–54 Swedish Division I season was the tenth season of Swedish Division I. Djurgardens IF defeated Gavle GIK in the league final 1 game to none, 1 tie.

The 2012 Damallsvenskan, part of the 2012 Swedish football season, was the 25th season of Damallsvenskan since its establishment in 1988. The 2012 fixtures were released on 8 December 2011. The season began on 9 April 2012 and ended on 3 November 2012. LdB FC Malmö were the defending champions, having won their 7th title the previous season. In an interesting season finish Malmö had a five points advantage over Tyresö two days before the end. On the second last matchday though Malmö only drew, while Tyresö won and the teams then met on the final matchday to play for the championship. Due to a better goal difference Tyresö won its first title after a late goal for a 1–0 win.

The 1946–47 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for that season. 43 teams participated, divided into six groups of six and one group of seven. Group winners Gävle GIK, Leksands IF, IFK Bofors, Västerås SK, Tranebergs IF, Atlas Diesels IF, and Djurgårdens IF advanced to a promotion tournament which resulted in Gävle GIK, Västerås, Traneberg, and Atlas Diesel being promoted to Division 1 for the following season.

The 2017 Damallsvenskan was the 29th season of the Swedish women's association football top division, Damallsvenskan. It began on 16 April 2017, and ended on 12 November. Linköpings FC were the defending champions, having won the competition in 2016.

The 1998–99 Elitserien was the 65th season of the top division of Swedish handball. 12 teams competed in the league. The league was split into an autumn league and a spring league. The eight highest placed teams in the autumn league qualified for the spring league, whereas the four lowest placed teams qualified for Allsvenskan along with the highest placed teams from the autumn season of Division I. The six highest placed teams in the spring season of Elitserien qualified for the quarterfinals, whereas the two lowest placed teams qualified for the preliminary round of the playoffs, along with the two highest placed teams of Allsvenskan. HK Drott won the regular season and also won the playoffs to claim their ninth Swedish title.
