Bergen County is the most populous county in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the county's population was 955,732, an increase of 50,616 (5.6%) from the 905,116 residents in the 2010 census, which in turn represented an increase of 20,998 (2.4%) from the 884,118 counted in the 2000 census. Located in the northeastern corner of New Jersey and its Gateway Region, Bergen County is part of the New York City metropolitan area next to the Hudson River; the George Washington Bridge, which crosses the Hudson, connects Bergen County with Manhattan.
South Hackensack is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 2,378, reflecting an increase of 129 (+5.7%) from the 2,249 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 143 (+6.8%) from the 2,106 counted in the 1990 Census.

The Pascack Valley Line is a commuter rail line operated by the Hoboken Division of New Jersey Transit, in the United States. The line runs north from Hoboken Terminal, through Hudson County and Bergen County in New Jersey, and into Rockland County in New York, terminating at Spring Valley. Service within New York State is operated under contract with Metro-North Railroad. The line is named for the Pascack Valley region that it passes through in northern Bergen County. The line parallels the Pascack Brook for some distance. The line is colored purple on system maps, and its symbol is a pine tree.
The Bergen County Line is a commuter rail line and service owned and operated by New Jersey Transit in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The line loops off the Main Line between the Meadowlands and Glen Rock, with trains continuing in either direction along the Main Line. It is colored on NJT system maps in grey, and its symbol is a cattail, which are commonly found in the Meadowlands where the line runs.

New Bridge Landing, signed as New Bridge Landing at River Edge, is an active commuter railroad station in the borough of River Edge, Bergen County, New Jersey. Located at the junction of Kinderkamack Road and Grand Avenue and next to Route 4, the station is serviced by Pascack Valley Line trains running between Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken and Spring Valley station in the eponymous village in Rockland County, New York. The next station to the north is the eponymous River Edge and the next station to the south is Anderson Street in Hackensack. The station contains a single low-level side platform on the southbound side of the track, resulting in the station not being accessible for handicapped persons per the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Teterboro is a commuter railroad station for NJ Transit in the borough of Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The station is located on the Pascack Valley Line near U.S. Route 46 (US 46) and Teterboro Airport between Wood-Ridge and Essex Street. Teterboro station consists of one low-level platform with a shelter accessible at the Catherine Street and US 46 ramps.
Westwood is an NJ Transit railroad station in Westwood, New Jersey. It is on the Pascack Valley Line and is located at Broadway and Westwood Avenue. The next station northbound, heading toward Spring Valley, New York, is Hillsdale. The next station southbound, headed for Hoboken Terminal, is Emerson. The station consists of one track, one low-level platform with a miniature high-level platform and a station depot maintained by the borough of Westwood. Westwood also maintains the parking lots, consisting of 226 parking spaces, six of which are accessible based on the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
Woodcliff Lake is an active commuter railroad station in the borough of Woodcliff Lake, Bergen County, New Jersey. Located at the junction of Woodcliff Avenue and Broadway on the edge of the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir, the station is served by trains of New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line. The next station to the north towards Spring Valley is Park Ridge while the next station south toward Hoboken Terminal is Hillsdale. The station, which contains a single track and low-level side platform, is not accessible per handicapped persons under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. As of November 8, 2020, Woodcliff Lake is serviced seven days a week by New Jersey Transit trains, having previously only been a single train on weekends and holidays up to that point.
Dover is an NJ Transit station in Dover, Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The station was originally built by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad in 1901 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Hackensack RiverWalk, also known as the Hackensack River Greenway, a is partially constructed greenway along the Newark Bay and Hackensack River in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The 18-mile (29 km) linear park, which closely follows the contour of the water's edge where possible, runs along the west side of Bergen Neck peninsula between its southern tip at Bergen Point, where it would connect to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, and the Eastern Brackish Marsh in the north. The walkway passes through the contiguous municipalities of Bayonne, Jersey City, and Secaucus with a potential connection to a walkway in North Bergen. It passes through new and established residential neighborhoods, county and municipal parks, brownfields, industrial areas, commercial districts, and wetland preserves. While existing parks and promenades have been incorporated and new sections have been built there remain gaps. It will pass under sixteen bridges and cross over eight natural creeks. Since 1988, in accordance with the public trust doctrine New Jersey law requires new construction built within 100 feet (30 m) of the water must provide 30 feet (9.1 m) of public space along the water's edge. In September 2022, the Lower Hackensack was declared a federal superfund site, triggering a process to remediate and restore the water and shoreline.

Tenafly is a former railroad station located in Tenafly, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The station was a stop along Erie Railroad's suburban Northern Branch (NRRNJ) which terminated at Pavonia Terminal on the Hudson River. It stopped being used for passenger rail transport in 1966, by which time trains had been redirected to Hoboken Terminal. The rail line is still used for freight transport by CSX.

From the 1990s until his death in 2010, Tino "the Greek" Fiumara was one of the most powerful caporegimes in the New Jersey faction.
Englewood is a former railroad station at Depot Square in Englewood, New Jersey. Once served by the Erie Railroad's Northern Branch, the building is located in the city's town center along the ROW now used as a branch line by CSX Transportation. The station at Depot Plaza was one of the original stations upon opening of the Northern Railroad of New Jersey, which included two others in the town, Van Brunts and Highwood. The building has undergone various incarnations as restaurants, a recording studio, and a performing arts school. The proposed Northern Branch Corridor Project extension the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail would pass the station along the line.
