The Beavers won the District VIII playoff to advance to the College World Series, where they were defeated by the Texas Longhorns.

It is home to the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12 Conference. Through the 2014 season, OSU had an all-time record of 1134–474–1 (.705) at the venue.

The 2007 NCAA Division I baseball tournament was held from June 1 to 24, 2007. Sixty-four NCAA Division I college baseball teams advanced to the post season tournament after having played through a regular season, and for some, a conference tournament.

The Oregon State Beavers baseball team represents Oregon State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the Pac-12 Conference. They are currently coached by Mitch Canham and assistant coaches Ryan Gipson, Darwin Barney and Rich Dorman. They play home games in Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The Beavers won the 2006, 2007 and 2018 College World Series to become the winningest collegiate baseball program in the Super Regionals era. In addition, the program has won 26 conference championships, qualified for 21 NCAA tournaments, and appeared in seven College World Series.

Bell Field, originally known as College Field (1893–1909), was an outdoor athletic stadium in the northwest United States, on the campus of Oregon State College in Corvallis, Oregon. It was the home venue of Oregon State Beavers football prior to the opening of Parker Stadium in November 1953. Track and field continued at Bell Field until its demolition in 1974.

The 2011 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team participated in the Pacific-10 Conference. They were coached by Pat Casey and assistant coaches Marty Lees, Pat Bailey, and Nate Yeskie. They played their home games in Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The Beavers finished the season with a 41–19 overall record, and came in third in the Pacific-10 Conference Championship with 17 wins and 10 losses.

The 2018 NCAA Division I baseball tournament began on Friday, June 1, 2018, as part of the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64-team, double-elimination tournament concluded with the 2018 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, starting on June 16 and ended on June 28. The Oregon State Beavers defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks in the best-of-three final series to win the championship.

The 1907 IAAUS baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the Intercollegiate Athletic Association of the United States (IAAUS), a forerunner of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), began in the spring of 1907. Play largely consisted of regional matchups, some organized by conferences, and ended in June. No national championship event was held until 1947.

The team was coached by Mitch Canham in his 1st season at Oregon State after long-time head coach Pat Casey chose not to exercise an option to return following a year sabbatical. Canham is a former catcher for Oregon State and was a member of the 2006 and 2007 national championship teams. The season was indefinitely suspended after 14 games after the NCAA abruptly canceled all winter and spring season tournaments, including the College World Series, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 14, 2020, the season officially came to an end after the Pac-12 athletic conference canceled the remainder of all scheduled spring sports competitions through the end of the academic year.

Ole Miss swept Oklahoma to win their first national championship in program history.
