The 2023 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Beavers played their home games at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field as members of the Pac-12 Conference. The team was led by Pat Casey Head Baseball Coach Mitch Canham in his fourth season at Oregon State. [2]
The Beavers were ranked in the preseason Top-25 by only three of the six major poll organizations and were picked to finish third in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll despite ending the prior season ranked 10th in the final D1 poll. [3] The team lost 18 players from the 2022 squad, including Major League Baseball 1st round pick and National Pitcher of the Year Award winner Cooper Hjerpe, but signed one of the top recruiting classes in the nation. [4]
Following a three-game sweep of Coppin State, Trent Sellers was named the Pac-12's Pitcher of the Week and Gavin Turley was selected as conference Player of the Week. [5]
Mitch Canham reached his 100th win as head coach on March 7 in a win over San Diego, becoming the fifth Beaver head coach to reach that milestone. [6]
Travis Bazzana set the all-time Oregon State record for most steals in a game with five against the Seattle Redhawks. The previous record of four steals in a single game was set by Steve Lyons in 1979 and matched by David Anderson in 1991. [7] Bazzana later broke the single-season steal record when he recorded his 30th steal in a game against Utah. [8]

The Beavers finished the regular season with the best record in the history of the program at 49–4, and set the Pac-12 record for conference victories in a season with 27. They were awarded the #1 overall national seed in the NCAA baseball tournament for the second time in team history (2014).

The 2019 Oregon State Beavers baseball team began the season as the defending national champion and represented Oregon State University in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season. Despite a successful season that saw them ranked as high as No. 1 and selected to host the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, the Beavers were eliminated from the first round of the Corvallis Regional.
The 2020 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Beavers played their home games at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. The team was coached by Mitch Canham in his 1st season at Oregon State after long-time head coach Pat Casey chose not to exercise an option to return following a year sabbatical. Canham is a former catcher for Oregon State and was a member of the 2006 and 2007 national championship teams. The season was indefinitely suspended after 14 games after the NCAA abruptly canceled all winter and spring season tournaments, including the College World Series, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 14, 2020, the season officially came to an end after the Pac-12 athletic conference canceled the remainder of all scheduled spring sports competitions through the end of the academic year.
The 2020 UCLA Bruins baseball team represented the University of California, Los Angeles in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. The team was coached by John Savage and played their home games at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
The 2021 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games for the 10th season at Hi Corbett Field. The team was coached by Jay Johnson in his 6th season and final season at Arizona. Following the season, Coach Johnson was hired as the head baseball coach at Louisiana State University. The Wildcats ranked 10th in Collegiate Baseball's preseason poll - their highest preseason ranking in any poll since 2013 - and their incoming recruiting class was ranked 4th in the nation by D1Baseball. On May 23, the Wildcats clinched at least a share of the Pac-12 Championship for the first time since the 2012 season that saw the team win the College World Series. Following a 3-11 loss by the Oregon Ducks to the California Golden Bears on May 28, the team clinched their first outright Pac-12 title since 1989. On May 30, Hi Corbett Field was selected as one of the NCAA's 16 postseason Regional sites for the first time since 2012. The following day the Wildcats were selected as the tournaments No. 5 overall seed - their first selection as a top 8 seed since the implementation of the current seeding system in 1999 - marking their first postseason appearance since 2017. On June 6, the Wildcats defeated UC Santa Barbara 5-2 to win the Tucson Regional and advance to their first Super Regional since 2016 when the team forged their way to the College World Series finals. The Wildcats would go on to defeat Ole Miss 2 games to 1, to advance to their 18th College World Series appearance all-time. They subsequently were eliminated in two games, losing to the defending champion from 2019, No. 4 seed Vanderbilt as well as Stanford.
