Aleksandr Vasiliyevich Medved is a Ukrainian-born Soviet Belarusian retired freestyle wrestler who competed for the Soviet Union and was named "one of the greatest wrestlers in history" by FILA, the sport's governing body. Between 1962 and 1972 he won three Olympic gold medals, seven world and three European titles. He served as the Olympic flag bearer for the Soviet Union in 1972, for Belarus in 2004 and recited the Judge's Oath at the Opening Ceremony of the 1980 Olympics.
Peter Williams III is a Canadian professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE as a backstage producer. He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling, where he is a two-time X Division Champion. He is also known for his time in Lucha Libre USA (LLUSA), where he held the Tag Team Championship with Jon Rekon. He is known by his nickname "The Canadian Destroyer", a reference to his front flip piledriver finishing move of the same name.
Enyu Valchev Dimov was a lightweight freestyle wrestler from Bulgaria. He competed at the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Olympics and won a bronze, gold and silver medal, respectively. At the World championships, he won gold in 1962, silvers in 1959 and 1969 and bronze in 1967, while finishing fourth in 1965, fifth in 1966 and sixth in 1963. At the European Championships Valchev won gold medals in 1968 and 1969 and a bronze in 1967. In 1962 Valchev was selected as Bulgarian Sportsperson of the Year.

Zagalav Abdulbekovich Abdulbekov is a retired Russian featherweight freestyle wrestler of Avar heritage. He won the world title in 1971 and 1973 and an Olympic gold medal in 1972. At the European Championships, he earned a silver in 1973 and a bronze in 1969 and 1975.
Geeta Phogat is a freestyle wrestler who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the Olympic Summer Games.
Roman Mikhaylovich Dmitriyev was a Russian freestyle wrestler, coach and politician of Yakut heritage. He competed at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics and won a gold and a silver medal, respectively. Between 1969 and 1974 he won four medals at world championships, including a gold in 1973; he was also a European champion in 1969. Domestically Dmitriyev won the Soviet championships in 1969, 1971, 1972, 1976, 1979 and 1981.

Haji Aliyev is an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 61 kg division in the 2014 European Wrestling Championships and won the gold medal after beating Bekkhan Goygereyev of Russia.
Sakshi Malik is an Indian freestyle wrestler. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category, becoming the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics. She is a part of the JSW Sports Excellence Program, along with fellow female wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.

At present, he is being trained by his guru and father in law Kaka Pawar. Currently he is member of Maharashtra police as a deputy superintendent of police. He is fondly called as "Nana" by his friends and family.
Reza Atrinagharchi is an Iranian freestyle wrestler. He won the silver medal in the 61 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. He won a gold medal at the 2019 Asian Championship, and bronze medals at the 2017 Asian Championships and 2018 Asian Games.
Avtandil Kentchadze is a Georgian wrestler who won a silver medal at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships. Kentchadze also captured a bronze medal at both the U23 Senior European Championships in 2018 and U23 senior World Champions held in 2017. In March 2021, he competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest, Hungary hoping to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 74 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Aram Vardanyan is an Uzbek sport wrestler of Armenian descent, who competes in the men's Greco Roman category. He claimed silver medal in the men's 72 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships after losing to Russia's Abuyazid Mantsigov.
Meirambek Ainagulov is a Kazakhstani sport wrestler who competes in the men's Greco Roman category. He has claimed two medals at the World Wrestling Championships, silver medal in the men's 59 kg event in 2017 and bronze medal in the men's 60 kg event. He was qualified to represent Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics following his medal success at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships.
Pak Yong-mi is a North Korean sport wrestler who competes in the women's freestyle category and a current world champion in the women's 53kg Freestyle event. She won the gold medal in the women's 53 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships. She also qualified to represent North Korea at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan following the gold medal success at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships. However, in June 2021, North Korea withdrew from the 2020 Summer Olympics which meant that Luisa Valverde of Ecuador will compete instead.

Hiroe Minagawa née Suzuki is a Japanese sport wrestler who competes in the women's freestyle category. She claimed silver medal in the women's 76 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships and also qualified to represent Japan at the 2020 Summer Olympics which will be held in Japan.
