Enyu Valchev Dimov was a lightweight freestyle wrestler from Bulgaria. He competed at the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Olympics and won a bronze, gold and silver medal, respectively. At the World championships, he won gold in 1962, silvers in 1959 and 1969 and bronze in 1967, while finishing fourth in 1965, fifth in 1966 and sixth in 1963. At the European Championships Valchev won gold medals in 1968 and 1969 and a bronze in 1967. In 1962 Valchev was selected as Bulgarian Sportsperson of the Year.

Avtandil Kentchadze is a Georgian wrestler who won a silver medal at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships. Kentchadze also captured a bronze medal at both the U23 Senior European Championships in 2018 and U23 senior World Champions held in 2017. In March 2021, he competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest, Hungary hoping to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Aram Vardanyan is an Uzbek sport wrestler of Armenian descent, who competes in the men's Greco Roman category. He claimed silver medal in the men's 72 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships after losing to Russia's Abuyazid Mantsigov.

Meirambek Ainagulov is a Kazakhstani sport wrestler who competes in the men's Greco Roman category. He has claimed two medals at the World Wrestling Championships, silver medal in the men's 59 kg event in 2017 and bronze medal in the men's 60 kg event. He was qualified to represent Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics following his medal success at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships.

Pak Yong-mi is a North Korean sport wrestler who competes in the women's freestyle category and a current world champion in the women's 53kg Freestyle event. She won the gold medal in the women's 53 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships. She also qualified to represent North Korea at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan following the gold medal success at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships. However, in June 2021, North Korea withdrew from the 2020 Summer Olympics which meant that Luisa Valverde of Ecuador will compete instead.

Nanami Irie is a Japanese sport wrestler who competes in the women's freestyle category. She claimed silver medal in the women's 55 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships.

Hiroe Minagawa née Suzuki is a Japanese sport wrestler who competes in the women's freestyle category. She claimed silver medal in the women's 76 kg event during the 2019 World Wrestling Championships and also qualified to represent Japan at the 2020 Summer Olympics which will be held in Japan.

Oktay Güngör is a Turkish freestyle wrestler competing in the 125 kg division. He is a member of Istanbul BB SK.
