Belgium participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song "Je t'adore" written by Kate Ryan, Niklas Bergwall, Niclas Kings and Lisa Greene. The song was performed by Kate Ryan. The Belgian entry for the 2006 contest in Athens, Greece was selected through the national final Eurosong '06, organised by the Flemish broadcaster Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT). The competition featured twenty-eight competing entries and consisted of seven shows. In the final on 19 February 2006, "Je t'adore" performed by Kate Ryan was selected as the winner via the votes of seven jury groups and a public televote.
"Après toi" is a song recorded by Greek singer Vicky Leandros, with music composed by her father Leo Leandros under his pseudonym Mario Panas, and German composer Klaus Munro, with French lyrics by Yves Dessca. It represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 held in Edinburgh, winning the contest.

The Hearts of Soul, also known as Dream Express and LBS, were a Dutch-Belgian musical group that originally consisted of the Indonesian-born Dutch sisters Bianca, Patricia and Stella Maessen. Belgian singer and composer Luc Smets joined the group in 1975. The group is known for representing the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1970 and Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 1977.

The Netherlands was represented by three-sister group Hearts of Soul, with the song "Waterman", at the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Amsterdam on 21 March. "Waterman" was the winner of the Dutch national final for the contest, held on 11 February.
Belgium was represented by Fud Leclerc, with the song '"Ton nom", at the 1962 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 18 March in Luxembourg City. The song was chosen in the Belgian national final on 19 February. This was Leclerc's fourth time at Eurovision, and he still shares the record for the most Eurovision appearances as a main performer. "Ton nom" has also gone down in history as the first Eurovision performance ever to score the infamous nul-points.
Luxembourg was represented by well-known German singer Jürgen Marcus, with the song "Chansons pour ceux qui s'aiment", at the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 3 April in The Hague. For the second time ever, broadcaster RTL organised a public national final rather than their usual method of internal selection. Marcus was the first German singer to represent Luxembourg, as their 1974 representative Ireen Sheer, although German-based, was British by birth.

In the final on 17 January 2016, the winner was selected over two rounds of voting: the first selected the top two via the votes of ten international jury groups and a public televote, while the second selected the winner solely by public televoting. "What's the Pressure" performed by Laura Tesoro was the winner after placing first during both rounds of voting.

The song, "City Lights", was presented to the public on 8 March 2017.

Eliot Vassamillet is a Belgian singer who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel and failed to qualify for the grand final. He was selected internally with the song "Wake Up" written by Pierre Dumoulin, who previously wrote "City Lights" for singer Blanche, which placed 4th in Eurovision Song Contest 2017, and Vassamillet himself.
"Wake Up" is a song by Belgian singer Eliot Vassamillet. The song represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, where it was performed during the first semi-final but did not qualify for the final. The song was released on 28 February 2019.
