The 1981 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 1981 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Wildcat Field. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 9th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 30-22 overall and placed 4th in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with an 14–16 record. Arizona failed to make the postseason for the 1st time since 1977.

Previous season

The Wildcats finished the 1980 season with a record of 45-21-1 and 17–13 in conference play, finishing tied for 1st in the "Six-Pac" (Pac-10 Southern). This was the Wildcats' 1st Pacific-10 Conference championship. Arizona advanced to the postseason for the 3rd straight season and was selected to host the West Regional at Wildcat Field. The Wildcats defeated Fresno State in their 1st game before defeating Gonzaga twice to advance to the College World Series for the 2nd straight season (and 12th overall). After losing their 1st game in Omaha, Nebraska to St. John's, Arizona won the next 4 against Florida State, Michigan, Hawaii and California to advance to the final game: a rematch against Hawaii. The Wildcats defeated Hawaii 5–3 to win their 2nd National Championship.

The Wildcats defeated Texas-Pan American, Missouri and Texas A&M to advance to the College World Series for the 1st time since 1970. After losing their 1st game in Omaha, Nebraska to rival Arizona State, Arizona won the next 4 against Oklahoma, Clemson, Eastern Michigan and Arizona State to advance to the final game: a rematch against Eastern Michigan. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 21st season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 35-26 overall and placed 3rd in the Pacific-10's Southern Division with a 16–14 record. Arizona reached the postseason for the 2nd straight season and the final time in Jerry Kindall's tenure and were placed as the 3-seed in the Midwest Regional, which was hosted by Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After falling into the loser's bracket with a loss to Auburn in their 1st game, the Wildcats rallied to win their next 3 against North Carolina State, Fordham and Oklahoma State. The team was ultimately eliminated 1 win short of a College World Series appearance with a 10–11 loss in the regional final to host Oklahoma State.

This was Arizona's final conference championship under Coach Kindall and would be their last for 20 years until clinching a share of the then-Pac-12 Conference championship in 2012. The Wildcats made the postseason for the 1st time since 1989 and were selected to host the West Regional at Sancet Stadium. This would be the final time Sancet Stadium would host postseason play and, coincidentally, was the last time the program would host a regional until the same 2012 season when the program would win its 4th College World Series title. The Wildcats lost back to back games to Washington and Hawaii to end their season.

The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 6th season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 42-13 overall and placed 2nd in the Western Athletic Conference's Southern Division with a 13–5 record. After a single year gap, Arizona was selected to the postseason and was placed in the West Regional hosted by the University of Southern California at Dedeaux Field in Los Angeles, California. The Wildcats lost their 1st game to USC before bouncing back to win their next 2 against Santa Clara and Cal State Fullerton. The team however lost their next game - a rematch with USC - to end their season. This would be Arizona's final season as members of the Western Athletic Conference, which they had been affiliated with for the previous 16 seasons. Beginning in 1979, the Wildcats would compete as members of the Pacific-10 Conference for the next 45 seasons, which they would remain in until leaving for the Big 12 Conference in 2024.

The 1975 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 1975 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Wildcat Field. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 3rd season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 41-13-1 overall and placed 2nd in the Western Athletic Conference's Southern Division with a 14–4 record. Arizona made the postseason for the 2nd straight season and were placed in the West Regional hosted by the University of Southern California at Dedeaux Field in Los Angeles, California. The Wildcats lost back-to-back games to Pepperdine and USC to end their season. This marked the final season that the program played night games at the off-campus Hi Corbett Field, as lighting was installed at their main stadium Wildcat Field midway through the season. The 1st night game at Wildcat Field was a 1–9 loss to rival Arizona State on April 18, 1975. Arizona would not play a game at Hi Corbett Field again for 37 years until moving to the stadium full-time in 2012.

The 1974 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 1974 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games at Wildcat Field. The team was coached by Jerry Kindall in his 2nd season at Arizona. The Wildcats finished 58-6 overall and placed 1st in the Western Athletic Conference's Southern Division with a 16–2 record. Arizona faced Northern Division champion BYU in the WAC Playoffs at Cougar Field in Provo, Utah. The Wildcats defeated BYU 14-5 and 16–5 to win the WAC Championship. Arizona made the postseason for the 1st time in Jerry Kindall's tenure and the 1st time since 1970, and were placed in the District 7 Regional hosted by the University of Northern Colorado at Jackson Field in Greeley, Colorado. The Wildcats lost back-to-back games to Northern Colorado to end their season.
