The EFL Cup, currently known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual knockout football competition and major trophy in men's domestic English football. Paul Breitner is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and left-back. Royal Standard de Liège, commonly referred to as Standard Liège or simply Standard in Belgium, is a Belgian professional football club based in the city of Liège. The final saw Tottenham Hotspur defeat Manchester City in the first Wembley replay. The final saw a memorable solo goal from Ricky Villa that was voted the greatest goal scored at Wembley.
