The 1990 South American Badminton Championships (Spanish : Campeonato Sul-Aamericano Adulto de Badminton 1990) was a badminton tournament sanctioned by the South American Badminton Confederation and Badminton Pan America. The individual and team events were held from 22 to 28 October 1990. [1] [2]

Contents

The tournament was held at Ginásio Municipal de Esportes located in Mairinque, Brazil. [3] Six countries took part in the tournament. [4] Peru won first place in the men's and women's team event, while Brazil finished in second place. [5] [6] [7] [8]

Ygor Coelho de Oliveira is a Brazilian badminton player. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event.
