It was the 14th edition of the tournament and took place from 28 September until 4 October 1992. Second-seeded Sergi Bruguera won the singles title.

Peter Ballauff and Rüdiger Haas were the defending champions, but did not compete this year.

In the first edition of the tournament, Leonardo Lavalle and Jaime Oncins won the title by defeating Horacio de la Peña and Jorge Lozano 7–6, 6–4 in the final.

Tomás Carbonell and Francisco Roig were the defending champions, but Carbonell did not compete this year. Roig teamed up with Diego Pérez and lost in the semifinals to Horacio de la Peña and Vojtěch Flégl.
