Archery at the Summer Olympics

Archery had its debut at the 1900 Summer Olympics and has been contested in 16 Olympiads. Kim Woo-jin South Korean archer

Kim Woo-jin is a South Korean archer who has the current world number one ranking and is the current world record holder in men's individual recurve archery. He is a student, and lives in Chungju. He is right-handed, and uses 30-inch (76 cm) arrows and a draw weight of 46 pounds (21 kg). At the 2016 Summer Olympics. he won his first Olympic gold medal as a member of the South Korean men's archery team, who defeated the United States in the men's team archery final.

2013 World Archery Championships 47th edition of the World Archery Championships

The 2013 World Archery Championships was the 47th edition of the World Archery Championships. The event was held in Belek in the Antalya Province of Turkey from September 29 to October 6, 2013, and was organised by World Archery (FITA). It will be immediately preceded by the 50th World Archery congress in the same location. Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the Papillon Sports Centre in nearby Kadriye, with the medal matches on 5–6 October on the beach of Belek.

2015 World Archery Championships sports event

The 2015 World Archery Championships was the 48th edition of the World Archery Championships. The event was held in Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark from 26 July to 2 August 2015 and was organised by World Archery. Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the Sundby Idrætspark, with the medal matches on 1–2 August outside the Danish Parliament building Christiansborg Palace. The competition was preceded by the World Archery Congress on 24–25 July.

Shaun Teasdale is a New Zealand male compound archer and part of the national team. The left handed archer has participated in the individual event at the 2015 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen. He has won a gold medal in the individual event at Shanghai World Cup 2010.

Jonathon Milne

Jonathon Milne is an Australian Paralmypic archer. In April 2015 he won the National Para Championships, held in Melbourne. In July 2016, he was selected to represent Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics where he won a bronze medal.

The 2017 World Archery Championships was the 49th edition of the World Archery Championships. The event was held in Mexico City, the capital city of Mexico from 15 October to 22 October 2017 and was organised by World Archery. Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the Campo Marte. The competition was preceded by the World Archery Congress on 13–14 October.

The 2018 World Archery Championships was the 14th edition of the World Indoor Archery Championships. The event was held in Yankton, United States from 14 February to 19 February 2018 and was organised by World Archery. Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center.

World Para Archery Championship, was played first time at 1998.
