The 1994 Massachusetts Marauders season was the seventh season for the Maruaders, and the first for the franchise in Massachusetts. They finished 8-4 and were defeated in the semifinals.

Harwich High School was a public high school located in Harwich, Massachusetts, United States. Harwich High School was the third smallest public high school on Cape Cod. Harwich High School closed in 2013-2014 due to the towns of Harwich and Chatham deciding to regionalize their school districts and build a regional high school. The new high school is Monomoy Regional High School, which opened in 2014.

The 2008–09 National Indoor Soccer League is the inaugural season for the league and the 31st anniversary of professional Division 1 indoor soccer in the United States. The members of the NISL's first season are the Baltimore Blast, the Massachusetts Twisters, the Monterrey La Raza, the Philadelphia KiXX, and the Rockford Rampage. The Orlando Sharks were supposed to play, but due to scheduling conflicts with the Amway Arena the Twisters took the Sharks' spot for the season.

The 2010 National Premier Soccer League season is the 8th season of the NPSL. The season began on April 3, 2010, and ended with the NPSL Championship Game in August. The NPSL had planned for form a Winter league that would play from September 2010 to March 2011 but when only three clubs were willing to participate the plans were dropped. Those three clubs eventually ended up forming the SPSL for that Fall, though that league would fold the following Spring.

The 1990 UMass Minutemen football team represented the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the 1990 NCAA Division I-AA football season as a member of the Yankee Conference. The team was coached by Jim Reid and played its home games at Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium in Hadley, Massachusetts. The Minutemen made their second playoff appearance in three years, but would lose in the first round to future conference foe William & Mary. It would be the last playoff appearance for UMass until the 1998 National Championship season. UMass finished the season with a record of 8–2–1 overall and 7–1 in conference play.

The top four regular season finishers of the league's six teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Edward A. LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts, the home park of UMass Lowell. Binghamton won their third tournament championship, and second consecutive, to claim the America East Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
The Boston Renegades are a tackle football team in the Women's Football Alliance. The Renegades play their home games at Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere, Massachusetts.
The 2016–17 AHL season was the 81st season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began on October 14, 2016, and ended on April 15, 2017. The 2017 Calder Cup playoffs began on April 20, 2017.
The Maine Mariners are a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL that began play in the 2018–19 season. Based in Portland, Maine, the team plays their home games at Cross Insurance Arena. The team participate in the North Division of the Eastern Conference. The team replaced the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates after the franchise became the Springfield Thunderbirds in 2016.
