1998 European Canoe Slalom Championships

The 1998 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Roudnice nad Labem, Czech Republic from 18 to 23 August 1998 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 2nd edition.

The Junior Championships were first held in 1995 and then every two years until 2003. The Under-23 Championships were first held in 2002 as part of the senior championships that year. Since 2004 the junior and U23 age categories are held annually together as part of the same event. Athletes under the age of 18 are eligible for the junior category.

The 2016 Canoe Sprint European Championships was the 28th edition of the Canoe Sprint European Championships, an international sprint canoe/kayak and paracanoe event organised by the European Canoe Association, held in Moscow, Russia, between 24 and 26 June 2016.

The Canoe Marathon European Championships is an international canoe marathon event organised by the European Canoe Association. The first edition took place in 1995 and subsequent stagings were held every two years until 2013, after which it became an annual competition.

The 2017 Canoe Sprint European Championships is the 29th edition of the Canoe Sprint European Championships, an international sprint canoe/kayak and paracanoe event organised by the European Canoe Association, held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, between 14 and 16 July 2017.

The 2019 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Pau, France under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 20th edition of the competition and Pau hosted the event for the first time. The events took place at the Pau-Pyrénées Whitewater Stadium from 29 May to 2 June 2019.

The European Wildwater Championships are an international event in canoeing organized by the European Canoe Association. The European Championships take place every two year from 1997.

The 2021 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place from 6 to 9 May 2021 in Ivrea, Italy under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 22nd edition of the competition. Ivrea hosted the event for the first time. The extreme canoe slalom events made their debut at the European Championships.
