2002 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series

The 2002 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series was the 28th and penultimate season of the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series. It began at Daytona International Speedway on February 9 and concluded at Atlanta Motor Speedway on October 25. Cam Strader entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Jake Hobgood won his first and only championship, 66 points in front of Robert Huffman.

The ISCARS Dash Touring Series was a stock car racing series created by NASCAR in 1973, initially running solely at North Wilkesboro Speedway, that involved V6 powered stock cars raced over relatively short distances. In 1975 the series branched out to other tracks besides North Wilkesboro Speedway. After the end of the 2003 season, NASCAR transferred the Goody's Dash series to IPOWER. In 2004, they ran the IPOWER Dash Series. In January 2005, officials announced the cancellation of the 2005 Dash season due to problems with sponsorship. The International Sport Compact Auto Racing Series (ISCARS) purchased the series allowing the series to continue through 2005 and was operating until 2011.

Shane Riley Hmiel is an American former racecar driver, who competed in all three of NASCAR's national series. Hmiel's controversial stock car career, marred by accidents from his aggressive driving style, ended in 2006 after he failed a third substance abuse test and was banned from competing in NASCAR for life. After rebuilding his career in open wheel racing, primarily in United States Auto Club sanctioned dirt track racing, Hmiel was paralyzed in a near fatal racing accident on October 9, 2010, in Terre Haute, Indiana. Prior to the accident, Hmiel had become the first driver to win the Hoosier Hundred, Rich Vogler Classic, and the Pat O'Connor Memorial, the three premier USAC midget-car races, in the same season.

Wayne Edwards is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has driven for numerous teams over the past eight years. He is not related to fellow stock car driver Carl Edwards despite having the same last name.

Robert Huffman is an American former stock car racing driver from Claremont, North Carolina. He drove in eleven NASCAR Busch Series between 1991 and 1993. He next raced two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 1997. He returned to the series full-time in 2004; that year he had six Top 10 finishes in 24 events to finish 23rd in season points. He most recently drove the No. 12 Toyota Tundra in 2005; he raced in 14 events with two Top 10 finishes.

Kelly Renae "Girl" Sutton is a former NASCAR driver. Sutton started 54 races, mostly in her family-owned No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado, in the Craftsman Truck Series. She was the only stock-car racer, male or female, known to race with multiple sclerosis before Trevor Bayne's diagnosis in 2013.

Daniel Joseph Pardus is an American former stock car racing driver. He was a regular on the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series, and also competed in events in the Busch and Winston Cup Series, as well as the ARCA Re/Max Series.

Donnie Neuenberger is an American former professional stock car racing driver.

Christian Stuart Elder was an American racing driver. He raced in the Busch Series for Akins Motorsports for two years. His best finish of the year was 26th at Kentucky.

The 2003 ARCA Re/Max Series was the 51st season of the ARCA Racing Series, a division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). The season began on February 8, 2003, with the Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The season ended with the Bank of America 200 Presented by Fox 21/27 at South Boston Speedway on October 18. Frank Kimmel won the drivers championship, his fifth in the series and fourth in a row, and Bill Eversole won the Rookie of the Year award.

Raymond P. Paprota was an American professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series from 2002 to 2003. He also competed in the IPOWER Dash Series and the ISCARS Dash Touring Series from 2004 to 2005. A paraplegic, he was the first and only paraplegic to compete in NASCAR.

Mickey York is an American former professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series from 1977 to 2003. He is a former champion of the series, having won the championship in 1992.

Gary Moore is an American professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series from 1979 to 2003.

The 2001 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series was the 27th season of the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series. It began at Daytona International Speedway on February 10 and concluded at Nashville Superspeedway on November 25. Robert Huffman entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Cam Strader won his first and only championship, 155 points in front of Justin Hobgood.
