The 2002 Primera B de Chile (known as Campeonato Nacional BancoEstado de Primera B for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd completed season of the Primera B de Chile.

Primera B de Chile

Campeonato Primera B is the second tier in the Chilean football league system, and is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. It was established in 1952 as Segunda División, and later renamed in 1996 to the current name. Since 1954, automatic promotion to and relegation from Campeonato Nacional has been granted, although Palestino and Rangers were promoted to the top flight in the first season.

Deportes Puerto Montt (tournament’s champion) alongside Universidad de Concepción were promoted to top-tier after finishing in the first and second places respectively from the promotion playoffs, whilst Deportes Iquique lost the category, relegating for first-time since its foundation to the third-tier.

Deportes Iquique association football club

Club de Deportes Iquique S.A.D.P. is a Chilean football club based in Iquique that is a current member of the Campeonato Nacional. Founded in 1978, the club's home stadium is the Estadio Municipal de Cavancha, which has a 3,500 capacity.

2011 Torneo Apertura (Chile) sports season

The 2011 Torneo Apertura or LXXXVIII Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de la Primera División de Chile was the 88th season of Chilean Primera División.

The 2009 Torneo Clasura, officially the Campeonato Nacional de Clausura Copa BancoEstado 2009, was the 86th top tier tournament. It began on July 12 and is scheduled to end on December 16. Colo-Colo were the champions, winning its 29th title.

2012 Torneo Clausura (Chile)

The 2012 Campeonato Nacional Clausura Petrobras was the 91st season of the Chilean Primera División. The champions was Huachipato which won its 2nd league title, 38 years after winning their first one.

The 2013 Campeonato Nacional Apertura began on 26 July and ended on 10 December. The tournament champion was O'Higgins which won its first Primera División de Chile title in 58 years’ history after beating Universidad Católica 1–0 in the final play-off played at the Estadio Nacional.
