The 2011 Primera B season was the 61st completed season of the Primera B de Chile.

Primera B de Chile

Campeonato Primera B is the second tier in the Chilean football league system, and is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. It was established in 1952 as Segunda División, and later renamed in 1996 to the current name. Since 1954, automatic promotion to and relegation from Campeonato Nacional has been granted, although Palestino and Rangers were promoted to the top flight in the first season.

The 2017 Campeonato Nacional season, known as Campeonato Nacional de Transición Scotiabank 2017 for sponsorship purposes, was the 87th season of top-flight football in Chile. Colo-Colo won their thirty-second title following a 3–0 away win at Huachipato on 9 December. Universidad de Chile were the defending champions.

The 2018 Campeonato Nacional, known as Campeonato Nacional Scotiabank 2018 for sponsorship purposes, was the 88th season of top-flight football in Chile. The season started on 2 February and ended on 2 December. Colo-Colo were the defending champions, having won the 2017 Transición tournament. Universidad Católica won their thirteenth title on the last day of the season following a 2–1 win at Deportes Temuco, who were relegated to the second tier with this defeat.
