The 2003 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 113th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The championship began on 31 August 2003 and ended on 12 October 2003.

On 12 October 2003, Toomevara won the title after a 3-19 to 3-16 defeat of Thurles Sarsfields in the final at Semple Stadium. [2] It was their 18th championship title overall and their first title in two years.
Tomás Dunne is an Irish hurling coach and former player who is from Toomevara, County Tipperary in Ireland. He is the current coach of the Tipperary senior hurling team.
Laurence Corbett is an Irish former hurler who played for Tipperary Championship club Thurles Sarsfields. He played for the Tipperary senior hurling team for 15 years, during which time he usually lined out as a left corner-forward. Noted for his deadly accuracy in front of goal, Corbett is regarded as one of Tipperary's all-time greatest forwards.
