The 2001 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 111th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The championship ran from 14 October to 11 November 2001.
Toomevara were the defending champions. [1]
On 11 November 2001, Toomevara won the title after a 1–22 to 1–13 defeat of Thurles Sarsfields in the final at Semple Stadium. [2] It was their 17th championship title overall and their fourth title in succession.

The Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1887 for the top hurling teams in the county of Tipperary in Ireland.
The 2007 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship is an annual competition between the top hurling clubs in Tipperary. The winners of the Tipperary Championship qualify to represent their county in the Munster Club Championship, the winners of which go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship.
