The draw for the group stage took place on 22 April 2024. [7] The original draw was completed on 18 April but due to an administrative error where Lorrha–Dorrha were drawn out as a second seed, when a third seed, the Competitions Control Committee of Tipperary ruled that draw null and void and ordered a re-draw. The Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1887 for the top hurling teams in the county of Tipperary in Ireland.
