Julien Benneteau French tennis player

Julien Henry Guy Benneteau-Desgrois is a French retired professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is ATP world no. 25, which he reached in November 2014. He formerly resided in Boulogne-Billancourt and now lives in Geneva. Benneteau did not win a singles title, although he finished as runner-up in ten ATP tournaments. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open and the semifinals of the 2014 Cincinnati Masters and 2017 Paris Masters.

Roger Federer defeated Tomáš Berdych in the final, 3–6, 7–5, 7–5 to win the men's singles title at the 2012 Madrid Open. With this win, Federer won his record-tying 20th ATP Masters 1000 title and third title at Madrid.

Rafael Nadal defeated the defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–5, 6–3, to win the men's singles title at the 2012 Italian Open. It was his record-extending sixth Italian Open title.

Marin Čilić won the singles tennis title at the 2012 Queen's Club Championships with the score at 6–7(3–7), 4–3, after David Nalbandian was defaulted from the tournament for kicking an advertising board, resulting in a cut leg for a line judge.

Andy Murray was the defending champion, but lost to Milos Raonic in the semifinals.
Eighth-seeded Kei Nishikori won the title beating Milos Raonic in the final 7–6(7–5), 3–6, 6–0, and in doing so became the first home grown winner of the title since Toshiro Sakai in 1972.

Novak Djokovic was the defending champion, but lost in the fourth round to Tommy Haas. This championship was the first since the tournament's inception that no American was featured in the quarterfinals, with the last player from the US, Sam Querrey, beaten in the fourth round by Tomas Berdych. This meant that it was also the first all-European final eight at the Miami Masters.

The 2017 Ricoh Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 28th edition of the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, and part of the 250 Series of the 2017 ATP World Tour, and of the WTA International tournaments of the 2017 WTA Tour. Both the men's and the women's events took place at the Autotron park in Rosmalen, 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, from June 12 through June 18, 2017.
