The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The 2012 AFC Futsal Championship was held in United Arab Emirates from 25 May to 1 June 2012. 16 countries took part in the 12th edition of the tournament. It was also the qualification event for the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup to be held in Thailand. The AFC Futsal Committee pushed the dates for the event forward from the original 18 to 25 May.

The Fajr-e Felestin Hall is an indoor sports arena in Saveh, Iran. It is the home stadium of Futsal Super League teams Shahrdari Saveh. The facility seats 2,500 people.

The 2013 AFC Futsal Club Championship qualification were held to determine 5 spots to the final tournament. The teams finishing first, second and third in the 2012 AFC Futsal Club Championship, receive automatic byes to the final round. It will between 11 and 24 April 2013.

The 2012–13 Iranian Futsal 1st Division will be divided into two phases.

This is a record of Iraq's results at the AFC Asian Cup. Iraq have appeared in the finals of the AFC Asian Cup on ten occasions: in 1972 and 1976, and from 1996 to 2023. Their best ever performance was becoming champions in the 2007 tournament held in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 6th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, the annual Asian futsal club championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The tournament was held in Isfahan, Iran between July 31 and August 7, 2015.
