Michaela Alica Breeze is a British former weightlifter. Breeze was born in Watford and raised in Cornwall and educated at Wadebridge School. She started weightlifting under the guidance of PE teacher Dave Allen. Breeze then went on to Bodmin Community College before attending the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Breeze is well known for commentating at various events including Rio Olympics and Tokyo Olympics.
Stefan Khristov Botev is an Olympic weightlifter who represented Bulgaria and later for Australia. He was coached by Ivan Abadzhiev. Botev is a two-time world and European champion, winner of the World Cup in 1988 and was voted as Bulgaria's Sportsperson of the Year in 1990. Stefan is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist - once for Bulgaria in 1992 and once for Australia in 1996. Botev is a three-time gold medalist from the Goodwill Games in Seattle in 1990.
Vencelas Dabaya Tientcheu is a French weightlifter. He is a former World Champion, European champion and Olympic silver medalist in weightlifting.
Tom Richard Goegebuer is a former Belgian weightlifter competing in the 62 kg and 56 kg category. He is 164 cm tall
Marco Lingua is an Italian hammer thrower, writer, actor, TV personality and former weightlifter. He finished eleventh at the 2006 European Championships. He also competed at the 2008 Olympic Games without reaching the final. His personal best throw is 79.97 metres, achieved in July 2008 in Bydgoszcz. Erol Bilgin is a Turkish European champion in weightlifting competing in the 62 kg division. He was disqualified from the Olympics for an anti-doping violation.
Lydia Valentín Pérez is a Spanish retired weightlifter, Olympic Champion, 2 time World Champion and 4 time European Champion competing in the 75 kg category until 2018 and 81 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. Lydia has won three Olympic Medals, two World Weightlifting Championships, as well as four European Weightlifting Championships.
Ayşegül Çoban is a Turkish weightlifter competing in the – 53 kg division. She is a native of Konya.
Navab Nassirshalal is an Iranian retired weightlifter who won a gold medal in the men's 105 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He began weightlifting at the age of 15 and has also won a bronze medal in the 94 kg class snatch at the 2007 Asian Weightlifting Championships, silver in the 94 kg clean and jerk and bronze overall at the 2009 edition, and gold in the 105 kg category in 2012.
Polyvalent Hall of Bucharest is a multi-purpose indoor arena on the Tineretului Park in Bucharest, Romania. It is home to the CSM București of the National Handball League (LNHF). With a seating capacity of 5,300, the Sala Polivalentă also regularly hosts concerts, conventions and shows.

Dora Meiriama Tchakounté is a French weightlifter born in Yaoundé, Cameroon. She won the silver medal in the women's 59 kg event at the 2021 European Weightlifting Championships held in Moscow, Russia. At the time, she won the bronze medal but in October 2021, this became the silver medal after original gold medalist Boyanka Kostova of Azerbaijan was banned for testing positive for traces of stanozolol. She also represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
