Svetlana Ulyanova (born 29 August 1979) is a Russian weightlifter.
Ulyanova participated in the women's -48 kg class at the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships, but did not win a medal; however finished on an equal amount of lifted weight at the end of the competition alongside the silver and bronze medal winners. Yang Lian was outstanding lifting 29 kg more than the others. Wiratthaworn Aree (silver) and Hiromi Miyake (bronze) lifted 188 kg during the tournament. Ulyanova also lifted 188 kg, but as being the heaviest of the three (47.52 / 47.63 / 47.73 kg) did not receive a medal. [1]
Karnam Malleswari is a retired Indian weightlifter. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal at the Olympics in 2000. In 1994, she received the Arjuna Award and in 1999, she received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, India's highest sporting honour, and the civilian Padma Shri award.

Her father and coach is Yoshiyuki Miyake, who was a bronze medallist in weightlifting at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Her uncle Yoshinobu Miyake was a gold medalist in weightlifting at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics.
Lucy Ogechukwu Ejike is a Nigerian Paralympic powerlifter. She has represented her country at six consecutive Paralympic Games from 2000 in Sydney through to 2021 in Tokyo. She has won medals at each, three gold, two silver and one bronze. She won a further silver medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth games women's lightweight category of the Para Powerlifting event behind compatriot Esther Oyema.
Marzena Karpińska is a Polish weightlifter. She won a gold medal at the 2012 European Championships in Antalya, Turkey with a 187 kg total. She weighed in at 47.74 kg and had snatch lifts of 81, 83 and 85 kg and clean and jerk lifts of 98, 100 and 102 kg. She was also a silver medalist at the 2010 European Championships and bronze medalist at the 2009 European Championships in the 48 kg category.
