Hrvatska radiotelevizija television station

Hrvatska radiotelevizija or simply HRT is a Croatian public broadcasting company. It operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. In 2014, more than 85% of HRT's revenue came from broadcast user fees with each household in Croatia required to pay 79 HRK (~€10) per month for a single television set, with the remainder being made up from advertising. HRT is divided into three joint companies - Croatian Radio, Croatian Television and Music Production.

Ples sa zvijezdama is the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars and translates precisely such. Nine seasons have aired on HRT1 from 2006 to 2013 with a ninth season airing on Nova TV in 2019. Currently, there is no announcement regarding a second season on Nova. If so, it would be the tenth season overall in the whole series.

His partner was Martina Bastić. They finished third overall in 8 dancing couples. He sang the theme song for TV series Ruža vjetrova, until the show stopped using it in the 160th episode of season 1.

Barbara Kolar is a Croatian actress, television presenter at the Croatian Radiotelevision and the radio presenter at Antena Zagreb. She is the most famous for hosting the Ples sa zvijezdama and Zvijezde pjevaju shows. She hosts Antena Zagreb's Jutarnji Show. She starred in the HRT series Bitange i princeze, Stipe u gostima and Naša mala klinika, and is the host of the quiz show Upitnik ("Questionnaire").
