Nova TV is a Croatian free-to-air television network launched on 28 May 2000. It was the first commercial television network with national concession in the country and from 2004 until 2018 it was fully owned by the Central European Media Enterprises. In 2018, Direct Media purchased Nova TV and Doma TV.

Ana Đolić is a Croatian singer, who participated in television shows such as Hrvatski Idol, Ne zaboravi stihove!, and finally Operacija trijumf, which was shown in five countries. Her debut single, "Preživjet ću", reached number one in Serbia in 2009.

Milica Majstorović is a Serbian singer. She came to media attention as a contestant in regional television show Operacija Trijumf, while her debut single "Savršeni par" was released on 6 January 2009. On 20 February 2010, it was reported Majstorović tried to commit suicide due to professional disappointments, which she confirmed on 2 March 2010.
Vukašin Brajić is a Bosnian Serb pop-rock singer who rose to fame after participating in the first season (2008–09) of Operacija trijumf, the ex-Yugoslav version of Star Academy, in which he came in second place.
Igor Cukrov is a Croatian singer-songwriter, musician and television personality. He came to media attention as one of sixteen contestants of talents show Operacija trijumf, Balkan version of Endemol's Star Academy. Cukrov represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, alongside Andrea Šušnjara, with the song "Lijepa Tena", written by Tonči Huljić. The song qualified to the final from the second semi-final as the jury's selected qualifier. It eventually finished in the 18th place with 45 points.
"Preživjet ću" is a pop song by the Croatian singer Ana Bebić, released as her debut single on 5 January 2009. Bebić came to media prominence as a semifinalist of talents show Operacija trijumf.
Ples sa zvijezdama is the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars and translates precisely such. Nine seasons have aired on HRT1 from 2006 to 2013 with a ninth season being aired on Nova TV in 2019. The eleventh season was broadcast on Nova TV.
Marijana Mićić is a Serbian TV host, and occasional actress, best known as the host of Veliki Brat, the Serbian version of Big Brother. She has hosted a number of shows, most of them for the Serbian production company Emotion. She also took part in the Serbian remake of The Simple Life, alongside Ana Mihajlovski.

Bojan Jambrošić, is a Croatian pop singer who in 2009 won the first season of talent show Hrvatska traži zvijezdu, the Croatian version of Idol series. After his win, he was signed to Dallas Records. The same year, he released his debut album Bolji od ljubavi. He also took a part in season 5 of Ples sa zvijezdama, the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars aired on HRT1. His partner was Martina Bastić. They finished third overall in 8 dancing couples. He sang the theme song for TV series Ruža vjetrova, until the show stopped using it in the 160th episode of season 1.
