The 2008 Albanian Cup Final was the 56th final of the Albanian Cup. The final was played at Ruzhdi Bizhuta Stadium in Elbasan on 7 May 2008. The match was contested by Vllaznia, who beat Dinamo Tirana in their semi-final, and Tirana who beat Elbasani. Vllaznia opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with midfielder Gilman Lika, they then won the game with a second on 38 minutes through Xhevahir Sukaj to give Vllaznia their sixth Albanian Cup success. Klubi i Futbollit Elbasani is an Albanian professional football club based in the city of Elbasan, that last competed in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in the country.
Elbasan Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Elbasan, Albania. The stadium was completed in 1967 and has been the home ground of KF Elbasani ever since. The 2020–21 Kategoria Superiore was the 82nd official season, or 85th season of top-tier football in Albania and the 21st season under the name Kategoria Superiore. The season ended on 26 May 2021. It was initially planned to begin on 12 September 2020 but it was delayed after all participating clubs decided to boycott the competition, until the government would meet their demands. After 2 months of negotiations, the clubs ended the boycott and agreed to begin the season on 4 November 2020. Teuta won the league title on 26 May 2021, on the final matchday.
