The 2008 Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 8th edition of the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem, and was part of the Tier IV Series of the 2008 WTA Tour. It took place in Fes, Morocco, from 28 April until 4 May 2008.

King partnered with Lourdes Domínguez Lino, but lost in the first round to Sorana Cîrstea and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Gisela Dulko Argentine tennis player

Gisela Dulko is a retired Argentine tennis player. Although she enjoyed modest success in singles, reaching a career-high ranking of world No. 26 and winning four WTA titles, her speciality was doubles, where she achieved the world No. 1 ranking and won 17 WTA titles. Partnering with Flavia Pennetta, Dulko won the 2010 WTA Tour Championships and the 2011 Australian Open. She also reached the mixed-doubles final at the 2011 US Open, with Edward Schwank. During her career, Dulko upset a number of top players on the tour, including Maria Sharapova in the second round of Wimbledon in 2009, Samantha Stosur in the third round of Roland Garros in 2011, and Martina Navratilova in the second round of Wimbledon in 2004 and in Navratilova's final Grand Slam singles match.

It was the 9th edition of the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem, and was on the International category of the 2009 WTA Tour. It took place in Fes, Morocco, from April 27 through May 2, 2008.

Gisela Dulko was the defending champion, but chose to participate in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix which was held the same week.

Sorana Cîrstea and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova were the defending champions. Both were present that year, but competed with different partners.
Cirstea partnered with Maria Kirilenko, but lost in the final to Alisa Kleybanova and Ekaterina Makarova, 6–3, 2–6, 10–8.
