The 2008 Skyrunner World Series was the 7th edition of the global skyrunning competition, Skyrunner World Series, organised by the International Skyrunning Federation from 2002. [1]
From this year and up to 2011 (4 editions) was introduced Skyrunner World Series Trials.
The World Cup has developed in 6 races from May to September. [2] [3] in addition at the 8 trials.

Angela Mudge is a Scottish champion hill runner and skyrunner. Despite being born with birth defects in both legs, and finding track athletics not to her liking, she discovered her sport while a postgraduate student in Scotland in the mid-1990s, and developed rapidly.
The Skyrunner World Series is an annual international championship of skyrunning and the official International Skyrunning Federation (ISF) race circuit for mountain running.
