The race is currently held over a duration of ten hours as part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Captive Hearts is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Matsuri Hino. The series centers on the relationship between university student Megumi Kuroishi and heiress Suzuka Kogami and the curse that has bonded their respective families together for the past 100 generations. Shinichi Ito born December 7, 1966 in Kakuda, Miyagi, Japan) is a retired professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He has raced extensively in Japanese and International championships. Ito has competed in the All Japan Road Race Championship, and won the Japanese 500 cc Championship, and is also 3 times Japanese Superbike Champion. In the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hour Endurance Race he has qualified on pole 5 times and won the race 3 times. Ito has also raced in Superbike World Championship. Nobuatsu Aoki Japanese motorcycle racer

Nobuatsu Aoki is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Aoki began his Grand Prix career in 1990 and won his first and only Grand Prix at the 250cc Malaysian Grand Prix. His best season was in 1997, when he finished third in the 500cc world championship behind Mick Doohan and Tadayuki Okada. In 2009, he teamed with Daisaku Sakai and Kazuki Tokudome on a Suzuki GSX-R1000 to win the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race. He is the oldest of three Aoki brothers who have competed in motorcycle Grand Prix races.

Naoki Yamamoto is a Japanese racing driver. He is currently driving in the Super GT and Super Formula championships. He won the Super Formula championship in 2013, 2018, and 2020, along with the Super GT championship in 2018 and 2020. In 2018, he became the first driver to win both the Super Formula and Super GT titles in the same year for 14 years; he accomplished this feat for a second time in 2020. His successes in both series has allowed him to reach the 40-point threshold required for an F1 superlicence.

Suzuka Nakamoto, known by her stage names Suzuka and Su-metal, is a Japanese musician, singer and model. She is best known as a member of the kawaii metal band Babymetal. She is represented by the talent agency Amuse, Inc. and has been a member of three musical groups formed by the company: Karen Girl's, Sakura Gakuin, and Babymetal.

Mobilityland is a merger of two Japanese racing track facilities, known as the Suzuka Circuit and the Twin Ring Motegi. Suzuka Circuit was established in 1962 and Twin Ring Motegi was established in 1997. The two facilities merged management operations June 1, 2006, establishing the following business model. Mobilityland is publicly held, but all shares are owned by Honda Motor Company.
