The 2009 Svenska Cupen Final took place on November 7, 2009 at Råsunda Stadium in Solna. The match was contested between recently crowned Allsvenskan champions AIK and Allsvenskan runners-up IFK Göteborg, The two teams actually met in the last and crucial league match of the season, just six days before the cup final, where AIK won 2-1 and became league champions.

This cup final was also won by AIK after two second half goals by Iván Obolo and Antônio Flávio. Thanks to the win, AIK secured a Double for the first time in their history. [1] IFK Göteborg played their third cup final in a row and their fourth in the 2000s.

Svenska Supercupen 2010, Swedish Super Cup 2010, was a Swedish football match played on 6 March 2010 between Swedish league and cup double-champions AIK, and IFK Göteborg, who qualified as league runners-up since AIK won both Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen in 2009. Svenska Supercupen is usually contested by the winners of the previous season's Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen. However, since AIK won both titles in 2009, they faced Allsvenskan runners-up IFK Göteborg.

Svenska Cupen 2004 was the forty-ninth season of the main Swedish football Cup. The competition started on 28 March 2004 and concluded on 6 November 2004 with the final, held at Råsunda Stadium, Solna Municipality in Stockholms län. Djurgårdens IF won the final 3–1 against IFK Göteborg.

The 2013 season was the 116th season of competitive football in Sweden. The competitive year started with the group stage of Svenska Cupen on 2 March. League competition started in early April with Allsvenskan on 31 March, Superettan on 6 April, Division 1 and lower men's leagues plus the Damallsvenskan on 13 April. Svenska Cupen ended with the final played at the national stadium Friends Arena on 26 May. Allsvenskan ended on 3 November, Superettan one day earlier on 2 November, Division 1 and lower men's leagues on 26 October and Damallsvenskan on 20 October. Qualification play-offs were held after the end of league play with the Allsvenskan play-offs being held on 7 and 10 November and the Superettan play-offs being held on 6 and 9 November. Svenska Supercupen was held on 10 November and was contested by the winner of Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen. Sweden participated in qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Sweden also hosted UEFA Women's Euro 2013 between 10 and 28 July.

The 2013 Svenska Cupen final was played on 26 May 2013. The match was played at the national stadium Friends Arena in Solna which was completed in November 2012 and hosted the final for the first time. The final made its return to Solna for the first time since 2009 and it was also be the first time since 2006 that the final was played at a neutral venue. The final was the culmination of the 2012–13 Svenska Cupen, and the first time since 2001 that the final was held in springtime. Allsvenskan clubs Djurgårdens IF and IFK Göteborg contested the 2013 final. In Sweden the match was televised live on SVT.

Svenska Supercupen 2013, Swedish Super Cup 2013, was the 7th Svenska Supercupen, an annual football match held by the winners of the previous season's Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen competitions. This marked the first time that the cup was held after the end of the standard league season. The match was played at Swedbank Stadion, Malmö, on 10 November 2013, and was played by the 2013 Allsvenskan champions Malmö FF and the 2012–13 Svenska Cupen champions IFK Göteborg. The match was IFK Göteborg's fourth and Malmö FF's second appearance in the competition. The two clubs played against each other for the first time in the cup's history and it was the second time that the competition was hosted at Swedbank Stadion.
