The 2010 WAFU Club Championship (sometimes referred to as the Eyadema Unity Cup) is an association football competition that is contested between club sides in the WAFU/UFOA region. [1]

UEMOA Tournament Football tournament

The UEMOA Tournament is a football (soccer) tournament held between nations who are a member of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). The tournament was first played in 2007. It is also called Coupe de l'intégration ouest africaine.

The West African Club Championship , also known as the General Eyadéma Cup, was a West African Club tournament from 1977 to 1999. It was open to league runners-up in the West Africa region of the CAF. While the first matches were played of the 2000 tournament, the competition was cancelled before the final, largely for financial reasons. While the intention of the CAF was to revive a national squad tournament in its place, the planned annual CSSA Nations Cup has not been regularly scheduled since. The tournament was resurrected in 2009 to pit each member country's highest team not featuring in the CAF Champions League or the CAF Confederation Cup. The final four was played in December with Togo as the host.

The 2008–09 Coupe de France was the 92nd season of the French most prestigious cup competition and was open to all clubs in French football, as well as seven teams from overseas departments and territories. The final was held on 9 May 2009 at the Stade de France.

The 2009 Wafu Club Championship is an association football competition that is contested between club sides in the WAFU/UFOA region.

The 2009–10 Coupe Gambardella was the 55th edition of the French cup competition reserved for male under-19 football players. The competition is organized by the French Football Federation. The final was contested on 1 May 2010 at the Stade de France and served as a curtain raiser for the 2009–10 Coupe de France final. The defending champions were Montpellier, who defeated Nantes 2–0 in the 2008–09 edition of the competition. The current champions are Metz who won the competition by defeating Sochaux 4–3 on penalties in the final after the match ended 1–1 in 90 minutes.

2009–10 Nigeria Premier League

The 2009–10 Nigeria Premier League was the 39th season of the competition since its inception. Starting on 20 September 2009, it ran to July 7 due to breaks for both the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2010 FIFA World Cup and a total of 378 of a possible 380 games played. It ran without a sponsor since January due to the pulling out of sponsor Globacom.

Ubong Friday is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Nigerian Professional Football League club Akwa United and the Nigeria B. He primarily plays as a winger.

The 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament is the first edition of the international Zone B U-20 men's football event for teams under the West African Football Union. The competition was hosted by Togo in December 2018 in One match venues. The organizers of the tournament, said it will run from 6-16 December 2018 which will feature eight teams were drawn in two groups of four. WAFU Zone B member teams were Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. Mali replaced Côte d'Ivoire, who had withdrawn before the tournament. Mali replaced Côte d'Ivoire, who had withdrawn before the tournament, and Senegal were invited to make the numbers up to eight. The tournament was won by Senegal.

The WAFU Zone A Women's Cup is a women's association football competition contested by national teams of the West African Football Union (WAFU). The WAFU region is divided into two zone and each has its own tournament.

The 2021 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualification was a men's under-17 football competition which decided the teams that would have participated in the 2021 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
