2010 saw the 7th edition of the Yemeni Unity Cup. The competition started in February and is set to conclude in May. [1]

The architect was Michael KC Cheah. On March 10, 2022 the Brazil national football team announced that the Grand Hamad Stadium was selected as the team base camp during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The tournament was held in Yemen for the first time in the tournament's history, and this edition celebrated the 40th anniversary of the cup as well as the 20th anniversary of the tournament.

The Unity Cup is an association football competition run by the Yemen Football Association (YFA). It initially started in the 1997-98 season and played for two years before being put on hold. The competition was added back to the Yemeni football calendar in 2004, again stopped but brought back in 2007 and has been played every season ever since.

The Palestine Cup is the main national association football competition in Palestine. It is sanctioned by the Palestinian Football Association. Past competitions were more expansive including clubs from all tiers of Palestinian football. For the 2010–11 season the PFA restricted participation to just the 12 teams of the 2010–11 West Bank Premier League.

Dhurgham Ismail Dawoud Al-Quraishi, known as Dhurgham Ismail, is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a left back or left winger for Iraqi Premier League club Al-Talaba and for the Iraqi national team.
