Anastasia Petrovna Dobromyslova-Martin is a professional darts player. She is a three-time Women's World Professional Darts Champion of the British Darts Organisation (BDO).

Martin Adams is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. The Bullit World Darts Trophy was a professional darts tournament run by the British Darts Organisation and the World Darts Federation. Held each September from 2002 to 2007, it took place at the De Vechtsebanen in Utrecht, Netherlands. The tournament had a playing format comparable with the two World Championships. Until 2007, it formed the third leg of the BDO Grand Slam, along with the BDO World Championship, the World Masters and the International Darts League.

The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament was originally sponsored by Phonogram before changing its sponsor in 1975 to darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was originally contested as the best of 5 legs before later transitioning to the set format.

The Finder Darts Masters was a darts tournament held in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands, sanctioned by the British Darts Organisation and the World Darts Federation, running intermittently under several different names from 1995 to 2018.

This is a list of some of the major events and competitions in the sport of darts in 2007. Raymond van Barneveld proved to be the most successful player with ten professional tournament wins across the PDC and BDO, including four majors.

He is a two-time BDO World Darts Champion having won the 2013 tournament and 2016 tournament. He is also a former Winmau World Masters champion, WDF World Cup singles' champion, Zuiderduin Masters champion. He also won the 2010 Grand Slam of Darts, becoming the only BDO representative to win the event.

Ross Montgomery, nicknamed The Boss, was a Scottish professional darts player who played in both the World Darts Federation (WDF) and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The 2009 Winmau World Masters was the fourth major tournament on the BDO/WDF calendar for 2009. It took place from September 4–6 in the Bridlington Spa Royal Hall. It was shown on the BBC. The men's final was won by Martin Adams, who beat Robbie Green by 7 sets to 6. The women's final was won by Linda Ithurralde, who beat Trina Gulliver by 4 legs to 3.

The 2011 Zuiderduin Masters was a British Darts Organisation darts tournament that took place in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands. It was the 13th staging of the event, and the last tournament to be staged that year. Scott Waites was in blistering form as he won the tournament for the first time, beating Martin Adams to get to the final in a sudden-death leg with a 105.12 average. Darryl Fitton was his opponent in the final, and missed two match darts for a 5–3 victory and his second Zuiderduin Masters win. Waites missed the double 18 for a nine-dart finish on his way to completing the comeback. It was a very high scoring match, with Waites hitting 16 180s and Fitton hitting 15.

The 2012 Winmau World Masters was a major televised tournament on the BDO/WDF calendar for 2012. It took place from 11 to 14 October, with 11 October play at the Costello Stadium for the untelevised matches, and 12–14 October play at the Hull City Hall, which hosted the televised element of the event for the second time, taking over from the nearby Hull Arena who hosted for one year in 2011

The 2007 Zuiderduin Masters was a darts tournament held at the Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmond aan Zee, the Netherlands, run by the British Darts Organisation and the World Darts Federation. It was the first edition of the tournament since the sponsorship of the event was taken over by the Hotel Zuiderduin to become the Zuiderduin Masters. A new tournament format was also introduced. It was also the last year the tournament was held as an unranked event and a men's only competition.
