2011 LATAM Challenge Series season was the fourth season of LATAM Challenge Series. The season started on April 9, and finished on November 20. There was nine double events, seven in Mexico and two in USA (both in Texas). The Venezuelan driver Giancarlo Serenelli retained the championship with seven victories in the season. [1] He also runs in Super Copa Telcel.
For this season the cars were powered by 2019 cm3 L4 Volkswagen FSI Motors. Tatuus chassis are used. Kumho Tires supplies the tires. [2]

The 2011 schedule was presented in February. [3] LATAM ran in the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for first time, and returned to Texas for two races. [4] On May 25, LATAM organization announced a change in the third race from Tuxtla Gutiérrez to Toluca by the track conditions. [5]

The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a 4.304 km (2.674 mi) motorsport race track in Mexico City, Mexico, named after the racing drivers Ricardo (1942–1962) and Pedro Rodríguez (1940–1971). The circuit got its name shortly after it opened when Ricardo Rodríguez died in practice for the non-Championship 1962 Mexican Grand Prix. Ricardo's brother Pedro was also killed behind the wheel nine years later. Since 2015, the track has once again hosted the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix, an event it previously hosted in two separate periods on a different layout, the last occasion of which was in 1992.

Enrique Contreras III won the Rookie of the Year title.

The Autódromo Monterrey is a racetrack in Apodaca, Nuevo León, México, in the Monterrey metropolitan area. The track currently is operated by DIPSA and host races for NASCAR México, drag racing, karting and Volks races.
The EcoCentro Expositor Querétaro is an exposition center located in El Marqués, Quéretaro, near Santiago de Querétaro. Ecocentro was opened in 2001 by then president Vicente Fox. Currently the Querétaro fair is held every year in November, and the El Marqués fair is held in May.

Chihuahua was added to calendar, while Guadalajara which was supposed to return after a one-year hiatus was later cancelled and replaced by Monterrey and Tuxtla Gutiérrez was also removed for the year. Germán Quiroga was the defending Driver's Champion however he left the series to compete in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
