The 2011 MNL Grand Royal is the Myanmar National League's second full regular season.
Below is the league table for 2011 season. [1] Yangon United FC secured their first ever championship in this season and have also become champions of 2011 Max Cement MFF Cup. This is the first time a team has win both cup and championship in short MNL history.

Yan Paing born 27 November 1983 in Yangon) is a Burmese footballer who plays for the Myanmar national football team. He also plays with Yadanarbon in Myanmar National League. Yan Paing is a key striker for the Myanmar National Team and Yadanarbon FC. He became a popular player playing with former club Finance & Revenue FC.
The MPT Myanmar National League is the premier national professional football league of Myanmar. In 1979, the league replaced the Myanmar Premier League, which consisted only of 14 Yangon-based football clubs, with eight professional clubs representing different regions across the nation. On 16 May 2009, the league launched its inaugural two-month tournament, the Myanmar National League Cup 2009 in preparation for the first full season in 2010. Despite its national ambitions, the league held the MNL Cup 2009 matches in the country's two main stadiums in Yangon due to the lack of adequate facilities elsewhere. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon FC defeated Yangon United FC in the MNL Cup final to become the first-ever MNL Champions.
Yangon United Football Club is a Burmese football club, based at Yangon United Sports Complex, in Yangon, Myanmar. Owned by Tay Za, a prominent Burmese businessman, the club was one of eight teams that participated in the inaugural edition of the Myanmar National League in 2009, where they finished as runners-up. Yangon United's biggest rivals are Yadanarbon F.C., with whom they contest the Myanmar rivalry.
Yadanarbon Football Club is a Burmese football club, based at the Bahtoo Stadium, in Mandalay, Myanmar. The club was a founding member of the Myanmar National League in 2009. In the first round of the 2017 domestic league season, Yadanabon FC drew a home attendance of 4000, the highest in that round.
Hanthawaddy United Football Club is a Burmese football club, based in Taungoo, Myanmar, and represents the Bago Region. The club was a founding member of the Myanmar National League (MNL) in 2009. It finished in sixth place in the league's inaugural cup competition, the MNL Cup 2009. In 2012, the club changed its name from Okktha United to Hanthawaddy United. As Okktha United, the club won their first ever major trophy by winning the 2010 MFF Cup.
Ayeyawady United Football Club is a Burmese football club, based at Pathein Stadium in Pathein, Myanmar. The club was a founding member of the Myanmar National League (MNL) in 2009, and represents the Ayeyarwady Division in lower Myanmar. The club finished tied for the last place in the league's inaugural cup competition, the MNL Cup 2009. The club owners of Delta United have changed four times. Currently, a total of 26 entrepreneurs from Ayeyawady Region are successfully running the club. Ayeyawady United Football Club is the first ever Runner-up team in Myanmar National League with an unbeaten record for 25 matches. This record was broken by the match against with Zeyarshwe Myay F.C.
The 2010 MNL Grand Royal is the Myanmar National League's first full regular season. The MNL was founded in 2009, and two separate cup competitions were held. Mandalay-based Yadanabon FC won both competitions.
The MNL Myanmar 2012 is the Myanmar National League's third full regular season. The fixture schedule was released on second weeks of December 2011. The season is scheduled to begin on 7 January 2012 and end on 9 September 2012. The bottom two teams are relegated to yet-to-be-formed MNL-2.

Sithu Aung is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as midfielder for Myanmar national football team and Yadanarbon. He has played much of his career as a left-back, he has also been used as a winger. Aged 13, Sithu Aung joined the youth team of Yangon United, for whom he made his professional debut in 2012 at the age of 16. He got MNL champion 2 times and played AFC Cup 3 time in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He spent three season at Yangon United club, before moving to Yadanarbon FC for undisclosed fee in the 2014 MNL transfer window and making him the third Yangon United player to join the club in 18 months.

The 2013 MNL-2 New Holland League is the inaugural MNL-2 season which began on 15 February and ended on 28 June. On 28 June 2013, Chin United defeated GFA FC to become the first ever MNL-2 Champions.
The 2014 MNL-2 New Holland League is the second edition of MNL-2. The first round of the season began on 1 February and ended on 28 March. The schedule for the second round will be released after completion of the first round. The two guest teams taking part in MNL-2 will not be qualified to either MNL or MFF Cup.
Aung Thu is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as forward for Yadanarbon and the Myanmar national team. He has represented Myanmar at Under-17, Under-20, Under-23, and full international level. Representing Myanmar at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2015, his debut goal scored against New Zealand.

Although the two clubs have frequently been in the same division as each other since 2009, the rivalry has largely arisen before 2009. The 2018 General Aung San Shield is the fourth season of Myanmar knockout football competition. The tournament is organized by the Myanmar Football Federation. It is the league cup competition started in 2018 Myanmar football season. This cup succeeded the Myanmar Football Federation Cup. MFF has changed the cup competition style as follows.

A total of 12 teams will compete in the league. The season began on 12 January 2019 and is scheduled to conclude on 24 September 2019.
The 2020 Myanmar National League is the 11th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. Now, AIA has already made a sponsorship deal with Myanmar National League in order to support both MNL and Myanmar Football. A total of 12 football teams will compete in the league.
