Nepal conducted a widespread national census in 2011 by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics. [2] Working with the 58 municipalities and the 3,915 Village Development Committees at a district level, they recorded data from all the municipalities and villages of each district. The data included statistics on population size, households, sex and age distribution, place of birth, residence characteristics, literacy, marital status, religion, language spoken, caste/ethnic group, economically active population, education, number of children, employment status, and occupation.

The Sunuwar or Koinch are a Tibeto-Burman ethnic group. a Kirati tribe native to Nepal, parts of India and southern Bhutan. They speak the Sunuwar language. According to the 2001 census of Nepal, 17% of the tribe follow the Kirant religion and adopt the Mundhum (Kiranti) culture.
Baglung District, a part of Gandaki Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Baglung as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,784 km2 (689 sq mi) and has a population (2011) of 268,613.
Bhojpur District is one of 14 districts of Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. The district's area is 1,507 km2 with a population of 182,459 (2011). The administrative center is Bhojpur. It is surrounded by Dhankuta and Sankhuwasabha in the east, Khotang in the west, again Sankhuwasabha in north-east, Solukhumbu in the north-west and Udayapur in the South.
Dhankuta District is one of 14 districts of Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. The district covers an area of 891 km2 (344 sq mi) and has a population (2011) of 163,412. The hill town of Dhankuta serves as the district headquarters of Dhankuta District.
Khotang District is one of 14 districts of Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. The district, with Diktel as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,591 km2 (614 sq mi) and has a population (2021) of 206,312. The district is bordered by Bhojpur District in the east, Udayapur District in the south, Okhaldhunga District in the west and Solukhumbu District in the North. In this district there are two municipalities and eight rural/urban municipalities.
Mahottari District, a part of Madhesh Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Jaleshwar as its district headquarter, covers an area of 1,002 km2 (387 sq mi) and had a population of 553,481 in 2001, 627,580 in 2011 and 705,838 in 2021 census. Its headquarters is located in Jaleshwar, a neighbouring town of the historical city of Janakpur. The name Jaleshwar means the 'God in Water'. One can find a famous temple of Lord Shiva in Water there. Jaleshwar lies at a few kilometres distance from the Nepal-India border and has a majority Maithili population.
Mangalsen Nepali: मंगलसेन is a municipality and the capital of Achham District in Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. It was established on 18 May 2014 by merger of the former Village development committees of Janalibandali, Kuntibandali, Oligaun, Jupu, Kalagaun into its current form. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 32,507 people living in 6,604 individual households.
Ramechhap Municipality is a municipality in Ramechhap District in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former village development committees Old-Ramechhap, Okhreni and Sukajor. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 28,612 people living in 6,126 individual households.
The 1991 Nepal census was a widespread national census conducted by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics.
Chaukati is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2346 and had 539 houses in the village. By 2011 the population had become 2497 in 627 households.
Maneshwara is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 3,065, and had 642 houses in the village. By 2011 the population had become 3,393 in 789 households.
Pagretar is a village development committee in Sindhupalchowk District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. Kothe is a populated location within the committee area. In 1991, there were 633 houses, and at the time of the 2001 Nepal census Pagretar had a population of 3,352. By 2011, the population had become 2,952 in 762 households.
Pedku is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2013 Nepal census it had a population of 2284 and had 408 houses in the village. In 2011 the population was 1600 in 391 households.
Gajuri(Nepali: गजुरी ; gajuri) is a Gaupalika in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. It has a literacy rate of 64.28%. The city hosts as one of the city with highest literacy rate in the Dhading district. The local body was formed by merging three VDCs namely Gajuri, Pida, Nepal, Kiranchok.
Goldhunga is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tarakeshwar Municipality in Kathmandu District in Province No. 3 of central Nepal. According to National Population and Housing Census 2011, there are 3,806 households in the VDC and the total population is 16,174.
Pathari Shanishchare (पथरी-शनिश्चरे) is a Municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It was formed by merging three existing village development committees i.e. Hasandaha, Pathari and Sanischare in May 2014.
Ghatan is a market center in Beni Municipality in Myagdi District in the Dhaulagiri Zone of western-central Nepal. The former village development committee was annexed to form the new municipality on 18 May 2014. At the 2011 census, it had 1,137 households and a population of 4,327.
The 2001 Nepal census was conducted by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics. According to the census, the population of Nepal in 2001 was 23,151,423. Sanphebagar is a municipality in Achham District in Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal that was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the two former Village development committees Baijinath, Jalapadevi, Siddheswar, Mastamandau, Nawathana, Bhagyeshwar, Ridikot, Chandika. It lies on the bank of Budhi Ganga River. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 33,788 people living in 6,693 individual households. Sanphebagar is about 25 km north of the district headquarters of Mangalsen.
Laligurans is a municipality located in Terhathum District in the Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. After the government announcement, the municipality was established on 19 September 2015 by merging the existing Basantapur, Phulek, Dangpa, Sungnam and Solma village development committees (VDCs). The center of the municipality is established in Basantpur. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census after merging the five VDCs population it had a total population of 16,934 persons. After the government decision the number of municipalities has reached 217 in Nepal.
