2011 Rally America season

The 2011 Rally America season was the seventh season of Rally America. The season consisted of 6 rallies and began on January 29, with the Sno*Drift National Rally in Michigan. It was the first rally won by a Super Production Car in Rally America's history. [1] At the end of the season Rally Car sold the rights to Rally American to investors who changed the series name back to Rally America. [2]

On May 1, 2011, Rally America had their first fatal accident since the takeover from SCCA driver Matthew Marker went off the course, slid down an embankment and hit a tree. [3] [4]

The Rally in the 100 Acre Wood had Ken Block in a Ford Fiesta was the first time in 10 years that Ford has been on the podium. It also marked the first time since 2004 that a Subaru was not on the podium, and the first time in history that a Subaru has not won the championship.

The RallyCar Rallycross Championship is a rallycross championship held in the United States. Founded in 2010, it is the first series in America for European-style rallycross competition. The series is run by RallyCar, which also runs the Rally America stage rallying series.

The 2014 Rally America Championship was the tenth season of the Rally America Championship, the premier rally championship in the United States. The season began 24 January in Michigan, and returned to Michigan for the Lake Superior Performance Rally, the final round of the season, on 18 October after eight events.

The 2015 Rally America championship was the eleventh season of the Rally America series. The Rally America series is currently the premiere stage rally championship in the United States. The championship was won by the team of David Higgins and Craig Drew, representing Subaru Rally Team USA in their #75 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The team completed a perfect season, having won all 8 events. Higgins scored only six points shy of double the score achieved by championship runner's up, Subaru Impreza driver Piotr Fetela. Another Subaru driver, Lauchlin O'Sullivan was third in the championship at season's end.

The 2016 Rally America season is the 12th consecutive season of the Rally America series. The Rally America series is currently the premiere stage rally championship in the United States. The season consists of eight events across the country.

The 2018 Rally America season was the 14th season of the Rally America series. The championship series began in November 2017 with the Nemadji Trail rally and concluded in October 2018 with the Lake Superior Performance Rally. Rally Wyoming was cancelled twice due to lack of participation.
