The 2011 Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season was the second Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season, the replacement for the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup. It began on 30 April at the Hockenheimring and concluded at the same venue on 22 October, after eight race weekends and a total of ten races. [1]

Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup was a one-make racing series by Volkswagen based in Germany, which used the Volkswagen Scirocco model. The first season was in 2010, having replaced the previous ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup which had run since 2004. It was a support series for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, and was replaced in 2015 by the Audi Sport TT Cup.

The 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup was the first Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season, the replacement for the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup. It began on April 24 at the Hockenheimring and ended again at the Hockenheimring on October 16, after seven race weekends and a total of nine races.

W Racing Team (WRT) is a Belgian auto racing team founded in 2009 by engineer and former head of Volkswagen Motorsport René Verbist, racing driver Vincent Vosse, and entrepreneur Yves Weerts. Since 2010 the team campaigns Audi R8 LMSs in several international sports car series. In 2010 the team won the Belcar Drivers' and Teams' Championships, while in 2011 they won the Spa 24 Hours. Ren Wei is a Chinese businessman and racing driver who currently competes in the FIA GT1 World Championship for Exim Bank Team China Porsche. Ren entered motorsports in 2010 with the China Formula Grand Prix open wheel series before progressing to the Chinese Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup in 2011. In 2012 Ren debuted in international racing with the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, before being signed by Mühlner Motorsport for the FIA GT1 World Championship as part of the Exim Bank Team China squad. Ren is the second Chinese driver in the GT1 series after Ho-Pin Tung, and the first natural-born Chinese to participate.

It began on 3 May at Hockenheim and finished on 18 October at the same circuit, after nine race meetings, with two races at each event. It was a support championship for the 2014 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season.

The 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup was the fifth and final Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season, the replacement for the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup. The season started on 3 May at Hockenheim and ended on 18 October at the same venue, after six rounds and ten races, all in support of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.

Kristoffersson Motorsport is a Swedish auto racing team owned by racing driver Tommy Kristoffersson. It currently competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship and Swedish Touring Car Championship, with Tommy's son Johan Kristoffersson as one of the drivers. The team has raced under several sponsored names, such as Team Biogas.se, Volkswagen Dealer Team KMS, Volkswagen Team Sweden, Volkswagen RX Sweden and PSRX Volkswagen Sweden.
