The 2012-2013 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship was the inaugural running of the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. The series consisted of 10 races, spread across 3 meetings began on 26 October 2012 at the Buddh International Circuit, supporting the 2012 Indian Grand Prix and ended on 10 February 2013.

The Bahrain International Circuit is a 5.412 km (3.363 mi) motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series, and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. Alice Elizabeth Fraser Powell is a British racing driver. In 2010, she became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in 2012 became the first woman to score points in the GP3 Series. The 2014–2015 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship was the third running of the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. The championship commenced on 17 October 2014 in Losail International Circuit, Qatar and finished on 25 January 2015 in Madras Motor Racing Track, India. The series consisted of 12 races, spread across 3 meetings.

It began on 18 November 2016 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain and ended on 19 February 2017 at the Madras Motor Racing Track in Chennai, India. The series comprised 16 races spread across four meetings, with the first round in Bahrain being a support event to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
