The first seeded Chan Hao-ching and Chan Yung-jan won the first edition of this tournament, defeating Irina Buryachok and Valeria Solovieva in the final, 6–0, 7–5.

Varunya "Yuyee" Wongteanchai is a Thai tennis player. She is the younger sister of Varatchaya Wongteanchai who also plays on the ITF Women's Circuit.

Chang Kai-chen and Chuang Chia-jung were the defending champions, but Chuang decided not to participate.
Chang played alongside Shuko Aoyama and successfully defended her title by defeating Janette Husárová and Zhang Shuai in the final, 6–7(4–7), 7–6(7–4), [14–12].

Roberta Vinci won the first edition of the tournament, defeating Petra Kvitová in the final, 7–6(2), 6–1.

Alexandra Panova and Urszula Radwańska were the defending champions, having won the event in 2012, but Radwańska chose not to defend her title. Panova paired up with Valeria Solovyeva but lost in the quarterfinals.

Vesna Dolonc and Irina Khromacheva were the defending champions, having won the event in 2012, but both players chose not to defend their title. Dolonc played instead at the 2013 Sparta Prague Open.
