The 2013 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 13 and 16 December 2012 at the Patinoire Iceberg in Strasbourg. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating on the senior level. The results were among the criteria – along with FFSG minimum scores and jump requirements – used to choose the French entries for the 2013 World Championships and the 2013 European Championships. Brian Joubert withdrew due to the flu. [2] Florent Amodio won his second senior national title. Amodio decided to replace his short program with a shortened version of the previous season's free skating. [3]

Brian Joubert is a French figure skating coach and former competitor. He is the 2007 World champion, a three-time European champion, and the 2006–07 Grand Prix Final champion. On the domestic level, he is an eight-time French National champion.
Nathalie Péchalat is a French retired ice dancer and skating official, who served as the president of the Fédération française des sports de glace from 2020 to 2022.
Fabian Bourzat is a French retired ice dancer. With partner Nathalie Péchalat, he is a two-time World bronze medalist, a two-time European champion (2011–2012), and a five-time French national champion. They have won five medals at the Grand Prix Final and thirteen other Grand Prix medals, including three golds at Cup of China and two at Trophée Eric Bompard.

Lloyd Jones is a Welsh-French former competitive ice dancer. He represented France from 2009 to 2014. With Pernelle Carron, he is the 2011 Cup of China bronze medalist, 2013 Winter Universiade champion, 2010 Cup of Nice champion, three-time NRW Trophy champion, and 2010 French national champion. The two competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Earlier in his career, Jones competed for Great Britain.
Didier Gailhaguet is a French former figure skater, coach and official. He served as the president of the Fédération française des sports de glace (FFSG) from 1998 to 2004 and again from 2007 to 2020. He was suspended each time because of related scandals. At the peak of his power, he was one of figure skating's most influential and controversial officials, dubbed the "little Napoleon."
The 2008 French Figure Skating Championships took place between 7 and 9 December 2007 at the Palais des Sports in Megève. Skaters competed at the senior level in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and synchronized skating. The event was used to help determine the French team to the 2008 World Championships and the 2008 European Championships.
Maé-Bérénice Méité is a French figure skater. She is the 2011 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion, the 2016 International Cup of Nice champion, the 2015 Winter Universiade silver medalist, and a six-time French national champion.

Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2012–13 Grand Prix Final.

It was held at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy in Paris on November 15–18. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2012–13 Grand Prix Final.

Angélique or Anzhelika Abachkina is a Russian-French ice dancer. She currently skates with Pavel Drozd for Russia. With her former skating partner, Louis Thauron, she represented France at four World Junior Championships, finishing within the top ten at three editions (2015–2017).
French Federation of Ice Sports is the national governing body for a number of ice sports in France.
The 2021 French Figure Skating Championships were held in Vaujany from 5 to 6 February 2021. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dance. The results were part of the French selection criteria for the 2021 World Championships.
