The 2013 Georgia State Panthers baseball team represented Georgia State University in the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Panthers played their home games at the GSU Baseball Complex. The 2013 season represented Georgia States final season in the Colonial Athletic Association before leaving to join the Sun Belt Conference. Because of their planned move, the CAA would not allow Georgia State to compete in the end of season tournament.

The 2012 Georgia State Panthers football team represented Georgia State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Panthers were led by third year head coach Bill Curry and played their home games at the Georgia Dome. Georgia State was a full member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), but announced on April 9, 2012 that it would return to the Sun Belt Conference, which it had left in 1981, in July 2013. In advance of this move, the Panthers began a transition to Division I FBS in 2012. As a result of these moves, the 2012 season was the first and only year that they competed in the CAA for football. Although not qualifying, they were ineligible for the FCS playoffs as a transitional FBS team. The Panthers finished the season 1–10, 1–7 in CAA play.

The 2013–14 Georgia State Panthers men's basketball team represented Georgia State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team's head coach was Ron Hunter serving his third season at GSU. The Panthers played their home games at the GSU Sports Arena competing as members of the Sun Belt Conference. They finished the season 25–9, 17–1 in Sun Belt play to win the Sun Belt regular season championship, advancing to the championship game of the Sun Belt Conference tournament where they lost to Louisiana–Lafayette. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Clemson.

The 2014 Georgia State Panthers baseball team represented Georgia State University in the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Panthers played their home games at the GSU Baseball Complex. 2014 represents the first year of GSU playing back in the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers finished the season with a 25-31, going 11-19 in the Sun Belt Conference, going 19-14 at home vs 6-17 away. The Panthers finished 9th in the Sun Belt.
