Winner of each group and the best 1 team among the group runners-up will be advanced into the second round. Between the 18 teams in the second round, a knock out format will be used. [1]

Dhivehi League was a former Maldivian association football league, organized by the Football Association of Maldives. Every year, 8 teams competed in the league, which was the top level in the Maldivian football league system.

Bowling Green Falcons

The Bowling Green Falcons are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Bowling Green State University (BGSU), in Bowling Green, Ohio, United States. The Falcons compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level as a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division, while the men's ice hockey team competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Bowling Green sponsors teams in seven men's and 11 women's NCAA-sanctioned sports and the football team competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the highest level for college football. BGSU is one of only 15 universities in the United States that plays Division I FBS football and Division I men's ice hockey.

The F. League is the top league for Futsal in Japan. The winning team obtains the participation right to the AFC Futsal Club Championship.

Masalan Kisa Finnish sports club

Masalan Kisa is a sports club from Masala in Kirkkonummi, Finland. The club was formed in 1963 and covers the sports of football, pesäpallo, badminton, gymnastics, basketball, floorball, volleyball and beach volleyball. MasKi also make provision for aerobics and other dance fitness classes. In addition the club organises various sports and recreation events. The club has in excess of 700 members.

The Japan national under-23 football team is a national association football youth team of Japan and is controlled by the Japan Football Association. The team won the gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games and were champions in the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship. The head coach is Akinobu Yokouchi. Since 1992, it was decided that teams targeting athletes under the age of 23 will participate in the Olympics. Therefore, the name changes to Japan national under-22 football team the year before the Olympics and Japan national under-21 football team two years ago. The exception to this is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which has been postponed for one year, so in 2021, the team will be called the Japan national under-24 football team.

The 2012 Maldives FA Cup was the 25th edition of the Maldives FA Cup.

The 2013 FAM Youth Championship, includes the youth teams of all the Dhivehi League teams and 4 other teams from any part of the Maldives who want to participate. The age group of this tournament is Under-21.

The 2014 FAM Youth Championship, known as the eLL Mobile FAM Youth Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the 4th season of the FAM Youth Championship, which includes the youth teams of all the 2014 Dhivehi League teams and 5 other teams from any part of the Maldives who want to participate. The age group of this tournament is Under-21. This tournament is supported by the Japan Football Association.

The Philippines women's national Futsal team represents the Philippines in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Philippine Futsal Committee of the Philippine Football Federation.

2020–21 UEFA Futsal Champions League

The 2020–21 UEFA Futsal Champions League was the 35th edition of Europe's premier club futsal tournament, and the 20th edition organized by UEFA. It was also the third edition since the tournament was rebranded from "UEFA Futsal Cup" to "UEFA Futsal Champions League".
