The 2013 Tour of Turkey was the 49th edition of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey cycling stage race. It was held from 21 April to 28 April 2013, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI Europe Tour. In early 2014 Turkish Cycling Federation disqualified the original winner Mustafa Sayar and announced Natnael Berhane's victory. [1]

Teams

There were 25 teams participating in the 2013 Tour of Turkey. Among them were 9 UCI ProTeams, 15 UCI Professional Continental teams, and 1 UCI Continental team. Each team were allowed a maximum of eight riders on their squad, giving the event a peloton of 193 cyclists at its outset. [2] [3]

The 2012 Tour of Turkey was the 48th edition of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey cycling stage race. It was held from 22 April–29 April 2012, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI Europe Tour. Bulgarian Ivailo Gabrovski originally won the race after dominating the third stage, but was later found to have used EPO and was disqualified. It was officially announced in October 2012 that the winner of the Tour of Turkey is Alexsandr Dyachenko of Astana.

Natnael Teweldemedhin Berhane is an Eritrean professional road bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Continental team Beykoz Belediyesi Spor Kulübü. He is a two-time winner of the road race at the African Road Championships, in 2011 and 2012.

Mustafa Sayar is a Turkish professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Sakarya BB Pro Team. In 2013 he was suspended following his testing positive for EPO.

The 2021 Presidential Tour of Turkey was a road cycling stage race that took place between 11 and 18 April 2021 in Turkey. It was the 56th edition of the Presidential Tour of Turkey. The race has previously been a part of the UCI World Tour up until 2019, but it was relegated in 2020. This edition was the race's first as a 2.Pro event on the UCI ProSeries and UCI Europe Tour calendars since its demotion, with the 2020 edition having been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 Tour du Rwanda was a road cycling stage race that took place from 20 and 27 February 2022 in Rwanda. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Africa Tour calendar, and was the 25th edition of the Tour du Rwanda.

The 2022 Presidential Tour of Turkey was a road cycling stage race held between 10 and 17 April 2022 in Turkey. It was the 57th edition of the Presidential Tour of Turkey.

The 2023 Presidential Tour of Turkey was a road cycling stage race that was held between 8th and 15 October 2023 in Turkey. It was the 58th edition of the Presidential Tour of Turkey.
