Im Kyu-tae and Danai Udomchoke won this tournament, defeating Jamie Baker and Vasek Pospisil 6–4, 6–4 in the final.

The 2013 Soweto Open was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the fourth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2013 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2013 ITF Women's Circuit. It took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 29 April – 5 May 2013 for the men's event and 6–12 May 2013 for the women's event.
Jerzy Janowicz and Jürgen Zopp were the defending champions but decided not to participate.

The two teams met in the quarterfinals, with Shamasdin and Sharan winning the match. Shamasdin and Sharan lost to Samuel Groth and Chris Guccione in the semifinals.
Groth and Guccione went on to win the title, defeating [[]] and Juan Sebastián Cabal in the final, 7–6(7–5), 6–7(3–7), [11–9].
