Taal was premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival, the "official selection" at the 2005 Ebertfest: Roger Ebert's Film Festival, and retrospectively at the 45th IFFI in the Celebrating Dance in Indian cinema section.

<i>Pardes</i> (1997 film) 1997 Indian film

Pardes is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama musical film directed, produced, and co-written by Subhash Ghai. Distributed by Mukta Arts, it stars Shah Rukh Khan, and newcomers Mahima Chaudhry and Apurva Agnihotri in lead roles, with Alok Nath, Amrish Puri and Himani Shivpuri in supporting roles. The film was shot at various locations in the United States, Canada and India.

Shakun Batra is an Indian filmmaker, actor and writer. His first film was the romantic comedy Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012). He followed this with the ensemble family drama Kapoor & Sons (2016) and the Amazon Prime Video original noir romantic drama Gehraiyaan (2022), also his production debut.

Dabangg is a series of Indian Hindi-language action comedy films produced in common by Arbaaz Khan, starring Salman Khan as the titular cop Chulbul Pandey, Sonakshi Sinha as his love interest Rajjo Pandey, and Arbaaz Khan as Chulbul's step-brother Makhanchand "Makkhi" Pandey. The original work is 2010 film, named Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Dhilin Mehta.
