The 2014 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup was the inaugural season of the Asia Talent Cup. Japanese rider Kaito Toba won the cup ahead of Yuta Date and Takuma Kunimine.

The Asia Talent Cup is a motorcycle road racing competition intended for young riders in Asia and Oceania. Organized by Dorna Sports, the promoter of the international Grand Prix motorcycle racing and Superbike World Championship series, the ATC had its inaugural season in 2014 after being founded the year prior. The championship has run under the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup moniker with sponsorship from Idemitsu since the 2017 season, having previously been contracted with Shell Advance between 2014 and 2016. Alberto Puig has served as Director of the Asia Talent Cup since its inception in 2014.

The 2021 Honda Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup was the seventh season of the Asia Talent Cup. Japanese rider Taiyo Furusato won the championship after winning every race, while Malaysian Danial Sharil finished in second, and Gun Mie in third.

The 2022 Honda Idemitsu Talent Cup is the eighth season of the Asia Talent Cup. Malaysian rider Hakim Danish won the championship, following Japanese rider Shinya Ezawa in second and Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama in third.

The 2023 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup was the ninth running of the Asia Talent Cup, a motorcycle racing series organized by Dorna and sponsored by Idemitsu which is intended for young riders throughout Asia and Oceania. The season features six rounds at circuits in Asia, with all but the first round being held as support races for the MotoGP World Championship. The season commenced at Sepang on 18 August, and is scheduled to conclude at Losail on 19 November.

The 2015 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup was the second season of the Asia Talent Cup, a motorcycle racing series organized by Dorna and sponsored by Shell Advance which is intended for young riders throughout Asia and Oceania. The season featured six rounds held at circuits in Asia, with three rounds held in support of the MotoGP World Championship and two rounds in support of the Superbike World Championship. The season commenced at Chang on 20 March, and concluded at Sepang on 23 October.
