The 2014 Colonial Athletic Association baseball tournament was held at Brooks Field on the campus of UNC Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina, from May 21 through 24. In its first season in the conference, College of Charleston won the tournament for the first time, earning the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Continuing the format adopted in 2012, the top six finishers from the regular season competed in the double-elimination tournament. The top two seeds, William & Mary and College of Charleston, earned first round byes.

The Charleston Cougars men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Colonial Athletic Association. Home games are played at TD Arena, located on College of Charleston's campus in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. While a member of the NAIA, they were National Champions in 1983.
The 2012 Colonial Athletic Association baseball tournament was held at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Virginia, from May 23 through 26. In the championship game, fourth-seeded Towson defeated second-seeded William & Mary, 5-2, to win its first tournament championship. William & Mary won their second title, and first in 15 years, and earned the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2017–18 UNC Wilmington Seahawks men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Wilmington during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seahawks were led by first-year head coach C. B. McGrath and played their home games at the Trask Coliseum as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 11–21, 7–11 in CAA play to finish in sixth place. They defeated Hofstra in the quarterfinals of the CAA tournament before losing in the semifinals to Northeastern.
The 2017 CAA men's soccer tournament, was the 35th edition of the tournament. It determined the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
The 2017–18 College of Charleston Cougars men's basketball team represented the College of Charleston during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cougars, led by fourth-year head coach Earl Grant, played their home games at the TD Arena in Charleston, South Carolina as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 26–8, 14–4 in CAA play to share the regular season title with Northeastern. At the CAA tournament they defeated Drexel, William & Mary, and Northeastern to become CAA Tournament champions. They earned the CAA's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Auburn.

The 2021 CAA men's soccer tournament was the postseason men's soccer tournament for the Colonial Athletic Association held from November 11 through November 14, 2021. The tournament was held at Hofstra Soccer Stadium in Hempstead, NY. The four-team single-elimination tournament consisted of two rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the James Madison Dukes. They were unable to defend their crown as they were under a post season ban from the CAA. The Hofstra Pride won the tournament by defeating Elon 3–2 in the final. The conference tournament title was the fifth overall for the Hofstra men's soccer program all of which have come under head coach Richard Nuttall. As tournament champions, Hofstra earned the CAA's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.
The 2022 Colonial Athletic Association baseball tournament will be held at Walter C. Latham Park in Elon, North Carolina, from May 25 through 29. The winner of the tournament will earn the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
