The 2014 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference baseball tournament was held from May 21 through 25. The top six regular season finishers of the league's eleven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, New Jersey. Siena won the tournament for the fifth time, earning the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. [2]

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Its current 11 full members are located in four Northeastern states: Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. It was announced on October 23, 2023 that Sacred Heart University and Merrimack College will join the conference beginning in the 2024-25 season.

The MAAC men's basketball tournament is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The tournament has been held every year since 1982, the MAAC's first season. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. Mike McRae is a Canadian college baseball coach who is currently the head baseball coach at the College of William & Mary. He was formerly an assistant coach at Virginia Commonwealth University and head coach of the Canisius Golden Griffins. McRae was Canisius's head coach from the start of the 2005 season to the end of the 2017 season. Under McRae in 2013, Canisius advanced to its first NCAA tournament. Before becoming the head coach at Canisius, he was the head coach at Niagara from 2002–2004, and an assistant at several NCAA Division I programs from 1996–2001.

The 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament was the 23rd edition of the tournament. It determined the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's automatic berth into the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.

The 2016 MAAC women's soccer tournament is the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to be held from October 29 to November 6, 2016. The five match tournament will be held at campus sites, with the semifinals and final held at Hesse Field in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The six team single-elimination tournament will consist of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Siena Saints are the defending tournament champions after defeating the Manhattan Jaspers in the championship match.

The 2018–19 Quinnipiac Bobcats men's basketball team represented Quinnipiac University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They played their home games at People's United Center in Hamden, Connecticut as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and were led by 2nd-year head coach Baker Dunleavy. They finished the 2018–19 season 16–15 overall, 11–7 in MAAC play to finish in a four-way tie for second place. As the No. 3 seed in the 2019 MAAC tournament, they were defeated by No. 6 seed Monmouth 92–98 in the quarterfinals. On March 13, 2019, they accepted an invitation to the CIT tournament, where they played NJIT in the opening round on March 18, 2019, losing 81–92.

The Monmouth were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, losing to Marist in the semifinals. Marist went on to win the Championship, defeating Rider in a penalty shoot-out in the final. This is Marist's fourth overall tournament win and first since 2005. The title is also the first for head coach Matt Viggiano. As tournament champions, Marist earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.

The top six regular season finishers of the league's eleven teams will meet in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Clover Stadium in Pomona, New York. The 2022 MAAC women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference held from October 30 through November 6, 2022. The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting matches. The host for the matches was determined by seeding from regular season play. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Monmouth Hawks were the defending champions and were unable to defend their title, as they moved conferences to the Colonial Athletic Association beginning in the 2022 season. The Quinnipiac Bobcats won the title by defeating Niagara 4–0 in the final. This is Quinnipiac's first overall tournament win in program history. The title is also the first for head coach Dave Clarke. As tournament champions, Quinnipiac earned the MAAC's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.
